One of g he best camping area ever. More like a parking lot and RVs/Trailers are parked next to each other. No one minds because there are so many outdoor activities to enjoy. It is beautiful! I almost hate to share info on this one and would prefer to keep it to myself....lol

We have stayed at this campground on two occasions and loved both times. Because spots are so close together it seems impossible not to “make friends” with all the campers around! Last year we got a waterfront spot easily, this year it was …

Looked a bit crowded as we rolled along the Lake Perimeter Trail. Otherwise, seems like it could be a fun place to camp!

No. All paid camping
Yes they are. Keep in mind those sites are very tight together. We run ours under and to the front of our trailer for charging and cooking in very short periods. It's such a peaceful campground we don't want to ruin that for everyone else. Otherwise no restrictions. Quiet hours are 10pm - 8am.
It's a good plan to arrive at least by 10am but also plan on hanging around awhile. The campground is very popular with locals who stay until checkout time.
Pine cove is first come first serve basis only, gets pretty crowded, but has some decent spots
This camp feels like a overflow parking lot. For me it was a good place to sleep and leave.
I just visited the campground last summer. You will need to contact the park/forest service to see when the campground is open.
No I don't think so. The campground is first come first serve. As part of the Colorado Park System you have to pay at the pay box located at the entrance.I think it was $21 a night.
Anyone can camp there. Tent or RV required. Days fee enforced. Fourteen day limit.
