Service was wonderful. Pastor Patrick have a really good message. He is so realistic. Having service outside was breathtaking. It was awesome to see such a great turnout.

People are what makes a good church. They are welcoming and genuine.

This has been my local church for the past 20 years. The congregation is my second family. I found my first love here "Jesus" , met my wife Dara here, got married here. It has the feel of a small town church, with the look and atmosphere of a modern Worship Center!

Originally known as Easton Assembly of God, Faith Community is pastored by Pastor Pat Weber. It's located at 3000 Freemansburg Ave. in Palmer Township on the way toward Bethlehem Township. Although it has many of the strengths one would expect of a Pentecostal church -- people there typically have an expressive faith that is personally meaningful to them -- It also has some of the problems you'd expect from a Pentecostal church. Among them: a bent toward prosperity teaching and a reflexive withdrawal from the world as ungodly and fallen, rather than a christocentric response of engagement and involvement to meet their area's physical needs. The posture is a tidy one of condemnation and personal piety, rather than a messy faith of working for the redemption and restoration of others. The pastoral team of Faith Community consists of a husband-and-wife team, and their grown son. One might cynically observe how fortunate a church is to find all its pastoral needs met by the family of its lead pastor, but let us leave it instead to the individual visitor to decide how to understand this arrangement.
