Westchester apartments are some of the worst apartments I’ve ever lived at. The air conditioning does not work nor do the appliances and along with them not working they won’t get replaced for months. I occasionally dealt with roaches. The maintenance men are supposed to be available at all times except for some reason all of them take the same lunch and seem to never get off lunch so don’t bother asking for help. On top of all this, I was at the pool one day and asked for an umbrella for the table because it was very hot and we had the kids with us the youngest being 3 so we needed shade. They said they would call the maintenance men, so they did and said they are all on lunch. I asked how long they said it shouldn’t be more than 30 minutes. An hour goes by and still nothing. I go in and ask the four ladies if there is anyway they could let me grab it or if they could do it. They said no and that the men are still on lunch. By this time it’s been two hours and they haven’t given any update, so I go to the bathroom and end up seeing the umbrellas so I grab my own but for it to be that easy to grab it and put it up why couldn’t they do it themselves. Just terrible service here and it is awful how the office ladies act towards you.

If it wasn’t for Hector’s great service, the rating would be on zero stars. He is the only one I have seen that works with enthusiasm and willingness. His determination to get work done and constant interest to fix things is a standout in an otherwise shorthanded maintenance crew. He’s always asking how things are like while keeping a positive energy with kind smiles. There is a difference between knowing how to work, and wanting to work. Hector does both, but excels in the latter which is the most important. Two stars in itself is very generous considering how things have been run in this apartment complex lately. There is a wait time of 6 months to get anything fixed, the front desk is full of faces that look as if they don’t want to be there, and everyone is on a different page. Most of the people that work here work as if they are owed something by the ones living in the flats. It’s quite discouraging to see, overall giving it an unprofessional experience.

Worst place, and customer service EVER. They had me email them my personal information. - all meeting qualification, told me I'd hear back in 24 hours. And they have ignored every single call, 'text' and follow up email for now the 6th week! Officially over it. Waste of my family's time, especially in this market. 👎🏻

Generally not into expressing opinions publicly. But I’ve been waiting on washer, repair or replacement going on 3 weeks. This is a separate expense paid on a monthly basis from the rent. Updates? Still waiting. It’s an inconvenience when it’s a family depending on laundry’s. Options: complex has wash and dries facilities, at renters expense. ☹️😳😕
