We managed to keep my dad in his home until he acknowledged that it was no longer possible, a difficult admission for him to make and one I'm grateful we didn't have to force him to make. Here's an idea. Send an aid into the home of a man dying from cancer to 'look after him' while his live in caretaker goes grocery shopping. Then steal $1200 in cash from his pants pocket. Then steal some food. Then when the caretaker comes home immediately declare, "I never touched his wallet. I don't touch people's money." Then after the police arrive have the owner himself come into his home and personally berate him, go through all of his belongings and then cut off services immediately. KARMA is real and it will find you. I hope this business burns in the flames you've fanned.

This past winter my family found ourselves in need of in home care for my elderly, disabled father. It was an extremely daunting challenge to select the "right" firm with the "right" people to make sure Dad got the help that was needed safely and comfortably while maintaining his dignity. It was also important to us to provide our Mother with some respite that was much needed. A phone call to Right At Home provided us with an opportunity to gently put the plan in motion. From the very first conversation with James, we looked forward to a meeting in which we all and got to know him, the goals of their firm and the services that they were able to provide at a frequency that worked for our parents. They provided us with the care and companionship that was needed for my father and the confidence and compassion that enabled the respite much needed for my mother. It is a very difficult, emotional decision when facing the daunting task of outside care within the home. Right At Home promised to work with us to find the right formula--they did NOT let us down--in fact from our perspective, they under promised and OVER delivered. We were thrilled to have their help, insight, support and care giving. We simply cannot say thank you enough to specifically James, Mahogany and Andrew---additionally to all of the unseen staff that we did not have the pleasure of interacting with. It is with no hesitation that I HIGHLY recommend this firm and their services. We are forever thankful!
