There was a line but it went super quick. All the workers there do the best job getting people to where they want to go. Nice place.

My favorite part is the hostile approach of an armed guard before you can go in to take care of any business that your required by law to attend to. I dont want to give you money to drive a vehicle, I already bought, on the roads that my taxes pay for, especially after the beautiful greeting by AN ARMED PERSON. I will say that the confrontation is much more acceptable after waiting the 2 weeks it took to get an appointment here. Come on guys do better. No other business makes you satisfy an armed persons ridiculous questioning before they allow you to give them money. Literally the only thing keeping this review from 1 star was the young woman behind the counter. She was so polite it was scary. As if the armed guards roaming the halls and corridors of this DMV would physically remove her if she slipped up at all. TL:DR this place is anything but a nice calming experience.

The Property Appraiser’s office is unable to offer legal advice regarding deed changes, including how to prepare legal documents, nor does our office supply blank deed forms. There can be a variety of circumstances in which you might want to change who is registered as legal owner of a property. This is a legal question that should involve consultation with a real estate attorney or title company with respect to accomplishing your objective. The value of property is sufficiently high enough to make it worthwhile to get the deed done right.
