Im ashamed and disappointed in the complexe Ive been telling potential tenants to inquire about Not thinking the management have deteriorated in maintaining the property inside & out It hasnt looked like it was painted since Ive moved 8 yrs ago I assumed that I was prejudging intil I walked into my daughters' apartment Where I found that I was not only correct about mangement but Ive also learned a couple of things Ive learn that if the tenant fix the apartment up they'll remove it off of the rent Ok thats fair but somethings should be left for maintence The apartment should already be in a great condition before its even shown to a potential tenant There should be shortcuts in a unit to save money like the carpet on the stairs The stairs are like the project's stairs No resistance no grip no nothing Thats a lawsuit waiting to happen The front doors are heavy so there shouldnt be too much of dents or such esp around the key area I mean the locks should lock without a problem Shouldnt have to use agressive force to lock your unit Thats a safety issue as well The cabinets are a good amenity in the units Theyve gone down hill passed cleaning and painting Some are replaces by boards of wood Again cutting corners on product and service I really loved the atmosphere, my old apartment and the staff that I was blessed with years ago I dont know whats going on but it really needs to do a 360 if theyre planning on staying in business Meaning the property staff should stop cutting corners and pocketing money as well The complex is an investment not only the owner but to the city and tenants St Pete need to continue to keep property thats affordable and adds character to downtown Tenants need to feel at home spending theyre hard earned money Not fighting rats and roaches Most complexes have assigned parking This one dosent but theres ample amount of space to assign parking Hopefully a new bussiness ethical mangement can renew the old James Park Apartment complex back to its original structure of dignity and professionalism I'd hate to see it torned down Patiently and enthusiastically observing postive change Change for the better but not at the low & middle class expense I will not referral anyone until Ive seen change Ive been sending people there & speaking extremly highly the complexe without having the slightest clue until noe Theres no need for the mangement to respond Change and improvement would be more than appreciated Please and Thank You
