I have written two google reviews in my life and only when the situation is that bad. Our 4-month-old was diagnosed with covid and experienced respiratory issues. We communicated this clearly by phone and my chart messaging several times. We wanted to know if this was an urgent matter requiring immediate attention. And we could not get them to call us/call us back. This was not a routine situation with our newborn daughter. It should merit special attention and at least mild urgency by her care team to reach out to us. All we needed was one experience like this to decide that we need to seek out a new clinic and care team. The bottom is that this is not your clinic if you have a newborn (or a kid needing closely monitored medical care). They appear to be understaffed, are therefore very slow to respond, and the NM phone/web interfaces do not provide other options.

Customer service representatives have not been good. I tried filing an appointment with the dermatology department there. The first representative apparently couldn't verify my insurance, and made me call my insurance to verify, even though i had found their information through my insurance's portal. The next day, I called, and the customer service representative, named "maria," was extremely rude to me. The first customer service representative had spelled my name wrong, and apparently i had to call a new number to correct my name on file, but it didn't make sense as to why she couldn't do it as that is the same number i had called the day before to even create a file. Then "Maria," proceeded to say, "IF YOU LET ME FINISH," stating that I was cutting her off. If their customer service is this bad, I don't expect their doctors to be any better.

I honestly cannot imagine a more positive new patient experience. All the staff, both admin and medical, were great. Dr. Sefcovic was wonderful—warm, professional, thorough, very clear in her communication, never made me feel rushed (we covered a lot since I am a new patient) and generally just has a very good energy in the exam room. Would highly recommend her and feel fortunate to be in her care. Also, big kudos to the gentleman who drew my blood for lab work. SO efficient and painless. If you’ve ever had bad jabs in the past, you know how nice it is to have someone who really knows what they’re doing :)

I felt so uncomfortable with this hispanic person saying She was from Argentina who did my mammogram she was so unprofessional asking me personal questions about my inmigration status and How My mom and I got legal documents and everytime she asked me something else she just interrupted me when I was speaking not letting me finish my answer . very rude! The procedure was so painful and I had this procedure before and it is not my first time I’ll never come back to this place ever again What a difference compared to Illinois Masonic . I can’t believe this is part of Northwestern Hospital.
