OK but not impressed. Main issue is balance, bread is awesome but hard to bite with full of ingredients inside, many different meats what is great but I completely don't taste difference, all taste the same, just one layer of cheese what is almost invisible among whole taste. Cabbage doesn't work for sure, I would like to remove it but keep the rest in a half.

The hype is real. First thing you need to know is to grab a number upon entering. It will take time for your number to be called and you’ll have plenty of time to peruse the shop (so many unique cooking items and an impressive wine collection!). Listen for your number and have your order ready. Order it with the works and pick a cheese or your sandwich will be just meat and bread (but honestly even that would probably be bomb). I ordered the ham with swiss, no Mayo and no peppers. The dressing they use is something else …. I’ve never had anything like it before but it’s delicious and I’m craving it while writing this review. And I’m a picky eater. If you’re in a rush they do have pre-made sandwiches near the cashier. The ham was thinly sliced and piled on, the dressing dripped from the sandwich (in a good way) and the bread was just perfect. Comes with a pickle. You take your sandwich and any other goodies to the cashier and enjoy. You take one bite, and suddenly the line and tiny parking lot was worth it. I paired mine with a beach sunset. Cash/debit only, and the cashiers have forks/napkins. If I lived/was staying in the area, I’d pick up their other food as well. The lasagna and house salad looked great. They have all the fixings for a delicious dinner/lunch, especially if you plan to take it to the beach (just please remember to take your trash with you!)

I didn’t want to wait in the deli line, so I got a turkey house sandwich from the refrigerator that is full of pre-made sandwiches located in front of the cashiers. The turkey house sandwich was a large, juicy, cut in two pieces, and made with the Italian roll. It was good, but the Italian roll is very tuff. Hope you have good teeth for some good eats.

Probably one of my favorite sandwich places in LA. Usually a good wait time during peak lunch hours. Usually go right when they open or order ahead. My favorite sandwiches are the hot pastrami with the works or the godmother. Also really love the filone loads they have there.

I have never seen them, you can call and double check. The staff is super nice!
Only if Bay Cities users Uber eats. Distance shouldn't be a factor.
They are considered a "warm" food item and most ebt food rules on the card won't let you use it at bay cities. But if you do have an allowance for hot food items on your card it should work. Remember, they are more than just a Deli, there's a whole market in there and I'm sure you can shop the isles and pickup sliced meats at the deli. That should keep you in the rules regarding EBT food purchases.
Lines with social distancing, limits on entry
I weighed all the ingredients on my sandwich. Values are approximate since I had to estimate how much olive oil, did not know their bread recipe, etc. Also, I rounded up to the nearest ounce when ingredients measured .9. This is one of the best sandwiches Bay Cities makes! Hope this info comes in handy for deli lovers still trying to count calories. They bake it fresh. I think they do, they have rye bread, wheat bread, but it fresh is better. And get the pastrami sandwich with honey mustard, and spicy.
They accept credit cards but they have a cash only line that could save you 10min at checkout
