Despite my wife and I only looking at available stock and her asking a ton of questions the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, will almost certainly be buying our bird here once they get some in!

Always friendly service with a smile! This is the best store around for birds, toys, cages. Nothing but birds. Great prices too. Breeding boxes at a great price too.

My boyfriend and I picked up a baby pineapple green cheek conure here. I've been a bird owner and lover for decades and this is the place with the most loving bird caretakers that I've seen. The staff is knowledgeable and loves their birds. All of their birds are very well taken care of.

Beautiful local shop with helpful and knowledgeable staff, and a pretty great selection of birds rotating through. Good cage, toy, and feed selection too.

Yes, it is a very good place for wing clipping and nail clipping. I have been taking my birds there for 12 years. The price for wing and nail clipping is very cheap.
Better than PetSmart and Petco but not better than Craigslist
Not that I am aware of. Give them a call they may have a resource for you.
They do but i would call first, they move quickly, 500 to 800 dollars i believe.🐦🐦🐧
Contact any of the local cird clubs, Capitol City or Amador Burd Club. Sherrie at the Amador County Fairgrounds can point you in the right direction.
All kinds of them.
Hi Elizabeth, it would be $5.00 total. You can call us at 916-338-0505 to make an appointment. Thank you.
We have 5 baby African Grey's available right now. They are $3195.00 each.
They don't sell poultry, but are very knowledgeable and may have referrals as to where to find what you're looking for.
Not sure what ur talking about but the bird store I'm talking about is on foothills Blvd, suite 1B, Roseville, I bought my Conyer there last year and they are wonderful at the store. They will clip their wings and there nails for u whenever needed. They also have boarding for your bird if u plan to be away. They have a very clean store and cages are well kept. They offer hand fed young birds, they have a nursery there and the people who work there are very knowledgeable in regards to the birds. I love this place. They provide everything there a bird needs, food, toys cages etc. It's always fun to go there and check out the birds. I love this shop and I love my bird I bought from them. If u have not been there u should go and check out the varieties of birds and beautiful colors.
I ask that about my cockatiel, they suggested not to do it due to the fact you'll have to have it done all the time.
Yes they have parakeets. Not hand fed are the cheapest. Call them prices vary between hand fed and not hand fed.
Yes, they will ship bird food depending on the the size of the bag depends on the type of bird and the brand name of the food. Please call them to place your order
They almost always have finches but it is best to call ahead
We do not have any Meyers Parrots at this time. You may put your name on our waitlist and we will notify you if one is available.
The birds don’t breed in the winter so there aren’t any babies this time of year. If you want a particular type of bird it is best to put your name on our waitlist and we will notify you when that type of bird is available.
Yes, we have English Budgies and Parakeets available now.
We do not have any Lovebirds at this time. If you put your name on our waitlist we will call you when one is available.
If you want a hand tamed one there is a waiting list and prices start at about $140 depending on color. If you want a non tame Cockatiel they usually have some for about $99.
Hi Angel, we do sell hand fed cockatiels but we have a waitlist for them. If you would like us to add you please call our store 916-338-0505. As of right now they are $149.95.
nonsensical unfortunately... they DO not sell Amazon Prime subscriptions 🤣
Yes. They do. Not sure on the prices
Even if they don't have any right at the moment, chances are they will definitely get more or be able to put you on a wait list for them.
I think so no, why are you want sell the bird?
You'll need to elaborate on what you mean by "they." If you mean the cost of the birds, then the range you are looking at is anything between $20 to a couple of thousand depending on the species. What kind of bird are you looking for? Parakeet, cockatiel, conure, macaw? If you aren't sure, I'd highly recommend doing some research on bird ownership and the different species of pet birds. A parakeet or parrotlet is a great bird for beginning bird enthusiasts, but I highly suggest doing that research first.
I got mine from The Bird Shop 15 years ago; she was $350 then and I cannot recommend them highly enough! We've gotten 2 birds here (the other is s cockatiel - now 20 years old - also, healthy and beautiful). They are great to the birds, offer a large range of food and toys and are always helpful.
Hi Luna, please give us a call at 916-338-0505. Thank you.
No
The best part of this place is that almost all of their birds are hand fed, thus hand tamed
Right now a handfed cockatiel is $150.00. We have a waiting list for them so if you put your name on the list we will call you when one is available.
It depends on when they are weaned. Usually they will be around 5-8 months old.
Hi DARKEAGLE, it really depends on what type you are looking for. Please give us a call at 916-338-0505. Thank you!

I believe they are priced $400-450, depending on what type of conure you are looking for.
The Bird Shop website indicates $5.00 for wing and nail clipping. However, you do not need to have the wings and nails clipped. If you only clipped the wings or nail filing, it will cost less.
I have seen people take their birds in. Mostly for wing/nail trims. I'm sure you're aware that your tiel's new friend would have to be in a separate cage.
You have to buy a bird like mine. He will hurt any cat that comes near him. He is full bred Green Indian Ringneck and all boy. He has a very loud screach and will hurt a cat with his beak. No playing around. It is natural instinct. Always keep cats and birds separate from each other. Animals are territorial and I would think twice before you bring a bird into your home. Keep them separated.
Ask at the bird shop. They have a very knowledgeable staff that are glad to help. Sorry about your feathered friend.
They have an EXCELLENT selection of birds. Hand-tamed. Their training brings out the unique personality of every bird.
They are illegal in California as well as a handful of other states because they are believed to be a threat to the agricultural crops.
While my cockatiels aren't hand trained, they don't bite me. I was very slow with my motions around them and never forced them. One of mine was afarid of me and I always made kissy noises towards him and was calm and made cutesy voice towards him and eventually he associated that with good things and so I got him to come to my hand for scratchies by giving my finger kisses like I would to him and he associated my finger as a good thing so I can give him scratchies. He still won't get on my hand but it's a start. Go slow, spend time with them (even if they are just in the cage) and be gentle with body and voice. They'll become more comfortable around you eventually. :)
Making an appointment is courteous to others but in my 18 years of experience with the Bird Shop, they will make every attempt to assist you.
I think that you need to call The Bird Shop to ask if they have any male canaries and ask for a price. They have many types of canaries. Since, I am not an employee at The Bird Shop, you should call the bird shop. I purchased my male red factor canary for about $100.00 from The Bird Shop. He is very healthy and happy.
I am not sure because I am not an employee at The Bird Shop. However, male canaries are cheaper than female canaries. The red factor canary is about $100.00. You can call them and ask for a price. Since canaries are small, the food does not cost much compared to bigger birds.
I've seen a canary or more there before and, singing or not, this is the only place I would recommend. Got a cockatiel there - 18 years ago - and a conure - 14 years ago. Both are happy, social and well fed (food options galore here). Could not be happier.
I know that they will always try to accommodate. However, they will only take healthy birds. They will not board birds that are on medication or still being handfed. I would call before to see if they have room. They are only open during normal business hours for dropping off or picking up birds.
You're welcome. I hope you will still come visit us in the future. Thank you.
Aparently not i put in for an edit to fix that. Google dose take sometime to update on its own the phone # has not changed you can call and ask if they have moved ect. They were moved to the new location when i had my birds nails trimmed on the 23rd of Dec.
Im not sure, but you can call them. If they dont, they can most certainly help you find someone who can.
I would call to find out.
Yes
