I actually went in to follow up on an application I submitted online in May 2022 regarding benefits as I am retiring. I simply ask the lady who took me to window 37 at 12 30 pm a general question on when I could receive an award letter. She seemed inpatient with me and chastised me for asking some clarifying questions. She said she had no control of what happens to the application itself. I left feeling upset and unconvinced that I was helped by this individual.

I arrived here on a Friday around 1245 pm and there was a wait line outside of about 8 people ahead of me. The temperature was 82 degrees F and while it’s bearable in the shade, many of the people in line are under direct sun. Please be aware of this if you have any health issues or have to come with young kids. The reason I came in person is because I was on hold for 20 minutes to schedule an appointment and no one answered, so I figured maybe it will be faster if I come in person, at least this way the phone can’t hang up on me. I have tried in the past to call to make an appointment and had the same experience as other reviewers where the line hangs up on you or you get a “busy” message. I have visited the website and found NO option to make an appointment online. After an hour waiting outside, they let me inside where it is nice and air conditioned. The security checked my purse. There was a very nice and helpful lady who checked me in at the electronic terminal and gave a number. The number of People is limited inside and everyone sits three seats apart. Masks are required. There’s a family restroom and water fountain. They thankfully serve people now who live outside placer county. The security guard who I asked this was very nice and helpful. The whole process was 1 hour 45 minutes which was better than I expected. Also the man who helped me at the window was extremely nice and made the process much quicker and easier than I expected. Overall I would return to this location, but at a time of day when it is cooler.

I have been calling many times for simple help. And they refuse to help with attitude and hang up on me 2 times. I try to explain a situation here about my sick mother all I get is yelled at. Is there any manger I can speak to that can do job professionally.

This office is fairly easy in and great location. Be mindful this office only serves Placer County residents. You have to go to the Sacramento Card Center, 8581 Folsom Blvd. SUITE B, hours 9-4 if you are a Sacramento County Resident. Parking at Cirby office was easy to find parking spot.

Need new card
Change of address.
Yes
You just use your social security number and that will be your account number
8am-4pm
Marriage license, birth certificate, old social security card
You should call the Social Security Administration that's closest to you and make sure they're accepting that particular form. I believe you are closest to the one in Roseville. It's about a 10 or 20 minute wait so make sure you don't have anything going on in the background for a half hour because they will hang up on you. You can do mostly everything online if you sign up for an ssa.gov account. With all the IDS and verifications you have to provide it can take up to two weeks and several hours. But once you have it done you have it done forever in theory.
Yes you can that is the way I set mine up.
Go into the office, use the kiosk. It will guide you thru.
All you have to do is call or go on Social Security's website and request a duplicate copy of whatever you need. You can also go to a local office and ask for what you need.
I do believe a translator may be arranged for MANY languages at ANY Social Security Office. Just call them ahead of time and ask that a translator in your language be present at your appointment day and time.
Not going to happen.
I was told today when I walked in you have to sign in and then wait for about 30 mins just to make an appt?? or I could just wait to see someone which was going to be 1 1/2 hr. wait?? I called the other day and wait time to talk to someone on general number, was 1 hr 15 mins. The nice guard at the door said first 3 months of any year are the busiest. Geezzzzz. No kidding. I'm brand new to all this. Good luck!
You would be better off going to the county office. Medicare, I believe is funded by the state but count office has the forms.
Appointmentpubliclset up appt. Publicly available Available for social security,
You can come without an appointment. Live queue.
Walk-in, but appointment expedites your waiting time, appointment may also be necessary pending what your visit is for.
Call social security my only solution
I know...... don't you just love government run organizations
Contact the social security office report it..
Call your nearest facility.
You have to call them and make an appointment through the phone
Yes you can.
You do need to make the phone call & going to either send you the form or you may be able to do online there are no in-person visits I don't believe
Yes they are still closed, they only do the service over the phone.
Online... Social security.gov......stays running until 7pm eastern time
Yes, only if you live in placer county
Yes. But it's also good to call and let them know. It's been sometime since I did it and I cannot find that link now. I will keep looking for you to try and help.
I would say yes. You would need to go in person to you local office. I be leave they type one up for you so you can use it then send you a permanent one in the mail
No, it's a scam
Call SSI or go online ssdi.org I do not have the local #. Look on line is the best.
Yes.
No
Yes, just be sure to bring his birth certificate. Congratulations.
You CAN change your direct deposit information ONLINE!
Im not sure, im on social security but donot work there
Sometimes it's a good idea to have someone else sign on the page you're sending in as a witness to what you're writing about along with your signature. Also, indicate the rent amount and the date it will be paid. Hope this helps.
Not the number, but SSA can suspend your online account if t you have already established one. And if you have not, SSA can lock the account from being established. To remove the block or suspense, you would need to come into a field office with your valid ID.
Most peaple have them. I just got mine yesterday. If you do not get yours by next week. Call them.
Call the main number to SSI. Not the local office. Or go online to SSI.org.
That's a good question? I would say you need to call SSI.
I'm not sure I just went and waited every time. Sorry I couldn't be much help
Yes call or go to ski. And they will take care of it. It may take up to 2 months to get over to your new bank.
Yes, Unless you are a Sacramento county resident.
SIS WILL NEVER CALL YOU BY PHONE. ITS A SCAM
Wednesday would be a good day. About 45 to 60 min. Then about 15 min. For them to work on it. So about 1 1/2. Hours.
I had the same thing happen. I had to call ssi. And it took them 10 min. To fix.
You need to go online and log into my ssi. You will need to set a account up to get your info. Call sis and they can help.
You have to go 2 the folsom blvd. Social security office for a social security card replacement. You can no longer just go 2 any branch. It does not cost you any money for a replacement card.
Not if you know your ssn and your birthdate is correct on ssa systems.
Yes, grab a ticket just like the DMV and wait for your ticket number to be called. Super long wait though, always. I recommend Auburn SS office. Never anybodys there. In and out but its kind of a drive. Hope i was helpfull. Good day
Yes cost$ though
If you do not have an address in Sacramento county you may.
Go to IRS.gov and download form w4v (voluntary tax withholding form.) Complete the form and turn it in at your nearest office.
I would go in for that answer. Not going find it here. Very positive on that. Sorry
What do you mean? More info for your question please?
