This is one of our favorite places for hiking and rest. Some hikes are very easy, so you can get your children. Done hikes, like path to Goat rock isn’t so easy, so be careful and don’t forget your water

Cool state park! Plenty of parking, albeit at a $10 charge... plenty of bouldering, hiking, and adventuring to be done.

Medium hiking level, some rocks are on the path, even though it is a beautiful park, the entrance costs $10, parking lot is spacious and has EV charging stations.

A beautiful park with areas to rock climb. It's so magical to go on this trail and see miles and miles of trees. It's an open nature preserve and it's just stunning. Not too challenging. I'm a not an avid hiker and my legs are a little sore the next day but nothing too bad.

Park on the road for free; just be wary of the trench on the Castle side, when sundown occurs, and the parking signs and you will avoid a ticket.
Hi. I've been there once in November 2016. I went on a Friday for a night with two friends. Two more showed up later that night and that was it. I doubt you'll have a problem. Previous to that time, i tried to go on a Saturday and according to the Ranger, I would have no problem getting a site, but I was required to park in the lot and the lot was FULL so I bailed.
Before 9am
The park and parking lot are open
Highly unlikely, they said closer to a year for the area to be useable on one of the Cal Fire Updates.
It's free to park on the road at Skyline, but if you park in thr parking lot there's a fee ($7 I think)
Not at all. Bikes aren't allowed. At the intersection of Skyline and Hwy 9, there is an entrance to a great single track mountain bike trail. Very similar terrain, and a free parking lot across the street a the vista point. Enjoy!
No, sadly not. They are pretty adamant about it as well.
Yes
No! Only service dogs are allowed. This is directly from their website "Dogs are prohibited throughout the park (except for service animals)."
Yep you can leave it on the road, but on busy weekends it hard to get even those spots.
