Lived here for 6 months as a transplant from the east coast. The good: LOVE the location, it's so safe and walker friendly. Close to Target, Ralphs and Trader Joes. The apartment is very clean and modern. If you don't require alot of space, it's the perfect size. Nice not having to worry about utilities and the large tv was a bonus. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was clutch!!! And the walls are well insulated, never really heard my neighbors. The bad: new building brings new unknown issues. Had to relocate for 3weeks due to a pipe issue. They made me pack up my entire apartment and move across the hall, then pack everything again and move back in. A place like this you are rolling the dice on the type of housemates you get. The first 4months were great because I only had one other person in the unit and he was veryyy clean! Then he moved out and 2 new people moved in, which was pretty bad. Dirty dishes, food left out over night, dirty floors and lots of random friends dropping by. My only suggestion is better communication from management. Towards the end, we wouldnt be notified when a tour was coming through, which is good to know when you're planning to do laundry and run into a group of strangers stopping by. Also, they took almost $200 from my deposit for cleaning and painting, which was never communicated to me during the final inspection. At that point, I was moved into my new place so didn't care but would have been nice.
