Always prompt and efficient service and care from health care providers at SYRVAMC. Would like to see NOVAVAX vaccine available to me at SYRVAMC

Went to the VA being a combat veteran and was turned away since I was told I don’t have official business at this facility even after telling the staff I would like to see someone to discuss my benefits. Was told it’s Covid policy if you don’t have an appointment you can’t come in. Glad I served my country and this building and employee is only there because of guys like me.

Would leave 0 stars if possible. I came I to the ER after I was told by them previously if my condition worsened to come back as soon as I could. I can barely stand and am shaking so bad I can barely hold anything and they can't get a good blood pressure. I was yelled at for shaking by the initial check in nurse and then thrown back in the waiting room. People who came into the Er 15 plus minutes after me get preferential treatment even tho I was told to come back here. Moral of the story. If you aren't old they don't care

This hospital is TERRIBLE when it comes to trying to get appointments for FEMALE veterans.. They MOSTLY cater to you as a Male senior vet! It's really sad as a retiree! Thanks for NOTHING!

What the heck are you talking about? I have been going to the Syracuse VA Medical Center for over 20 years. Great Dr's & nurses. Sometimes messages don't get to the Dr's. But all and all I'm very happy. Hopefully Bay Pines VA Medical Center will be just as Great.
Yes, on the ground floor (G on the elevator)...it's as much a military souvenir & convenience shop as a gift shop.
Yes they do you need to have your PC put in a consult, I believe the clinic is on 5th floor.
contact DAV and schedule rides for his appointments... its free
The parking lot is right next door, but you have to drive around the block to get in. Make sure you have your VA I'd handy
Only if the vet, is 100 % disabled
Try discharging him from current hospital and taking him to your nearest VA hospital. If not have contact VA telecare and talk to someone there.
Good question well, I went there yesterday and they where out of stock so they will reopen as soon as it comes in.
I'm not sure you would have to contact them
The Va isn't insurance.
Dial the Hospital number and when you hear the message just press 0 for the operator.
Yes take him in front entrance
Contact your local DAV office
Today the phones were down for some reason. They are wo5on the problem.
There is a PIV card office
Yes and they still are
In pretty sure they do. I'm a VA patient there. Its a full hospital meaning they have a ER and I think on the 6 and th floor is where the patients stay from ER visits if someone has to stay overnight or had surgeries. On the very top floor they have residents who live up there. Not to mention the many clinics they have. I'd go on there website or look on USA jobs. You can also find a area in the hospital u want to work in and email the supervisors about jobs. They'll get back to u.
Some clinics you can dermatology may not be one of them. Try calling your team nurse and ask her to have your PMP put on a consult.
The VA will help you navigate thru insurance.VAwill assist if one ask
He can contact the closest reserve center and they might be able to help. The hospital won't be able to.
No, Because I can't walk
Call 315-425-4400. That is the number to the dental clinic. To the best of my knowledge, dental services are only offered under very limited conditions.
