This is why people don't trust mechanics. My 24yo son has a Hyundai lease with oil changes and tire rotations included in the life of the lease. He went to get a scheduled oil change at 15k miles and when I went to pick him up, he showed me a bill for $371. Service Rep Jack Sweeney told him he needed "Fuel Induction Service" which a quick Google search will tell you that is usually performed at 60k miles. Not 15k. He also tacked on a cabin air filter replacement fee. This car is only a year old. When I called them to cancel the work, they stated that it had already been completed. It could not have been more than 30 minutes since he dropped his car off but there was no way to prove that the work was or was not done. They did reduce the price to $245 which I assume they knocked $100 off for the cabin air filter. A cabin filter is a $20 part at the store and take 5 seconds to replace. I lectured my son about not letting mechanics upcharge him but since he already approved the work in writing there wasn't much he could do and is now out $245 for no good reason except to line the pockets of this dealer by milking their naïve customers for unnecessary repairs on a brand new vehicle.

We recently bought our gorgeous new Elantra from Laguna Niguel Hyundai with the help of Karim Soliman and Phu. The whole process was efficient, honest and fun. We live in San Diego but would make the drive 10x over for the experience we had here. Also Hans in finance was amazing too :) Thanks to everyone here, we’ll be sending our friends 🥂

This was my first service of my 2022 Santa Fe. The whole process exceeded my expectations. Jose was professional yet personable. The loaner car was a brand new Santa Fe, so I was comfortable and familiar with the car. The service included addressing the only issue I had with the car. It was taken care of and explained to me when I picked up the car. The car was washed and cleaned inside and out. I was treated with respect for both my concerns and my time. It couldn’t have gone better.

Really great dealership! It was super easy to book an appointment online for car service & they’re great at communicating. Always answered the phone every time I called, unlike the previous Hyundai Dealership I went to in San Diego. The service advisor Anthony was super helpful and very knowledgeable throughout the whole process. Highly recommend this dealership!
