Please read the responses this company puts on any negative review. They are SOOOO aggressive. They came to our home for a warranty repair issue for Lynx BBQ. They canceled my first appointment because their repair guy had COVID. The 2nd appointment, they did not have the parts and so the repair guy said they had to get the “kit” from Lynx and come back. I reminded him the only reason he was there was for a warranty repair and why didn’t they have the parts. He couldn’t answer that. I previously added a cleaning as long as they were there and he asked if I wanted him to do that or to do it when he came back and I said let’s just do it all at once when he returns. NO mention of cancel fee. A couple weeks later I got a call from a super aggressive female who demanded a cancel fee. I repeated the facts and that they had to order parts and she said I was lying they had the parts. Why would I lie about that when we just want our grill fixed? She then put the owner on the phone and he was SUPER aggressive so I had to hang up and asked that they never contact me again. Even though I said to stop contacts, he started texting and emailing me demanding a cancel fee. He forwarded a phone recording purportedly me but I didn’t listen to it because I NEVER was told I was being recorded (so they were breaking the law) and it was so upsetting to be treated this way, I just wanted to be done with them. Please everyone use someone else. I fully expect them to add an aggressive response here but felt I need to alert potential customers how awful they can be. Please see the pattern and aggressive attitude in these reviews. Do you really want that? The repair guy seemed pretty nice and I’m guessing this is why the positive reviews but don’t support a company that treats their customers so aggressively and with such disdain.

We hired Barbecue Renew to refurbish our barbecue. The technician seemingly did a good job until we tried to use it. When the rotisserie control knob was turned, flames spewed out from above and through the seams of the barbecue burning my husband’s fingers. Turned out we needed a new rotisserie flex hose from Bull. A new hose was ordered which was the wrong size. Now that we have spent a lot of money restoring the barbecue we may not be able to get this part. The company never followed up with me. I had to keep calling until Mike called me back. I’m no longer going to use them. They didn’t fully check their work and their follow up is very poor. Beware! 5/11/21 Response to Mike’s comments We were trying to save money by first fixing and cleaning our barbecue. We were told it could be done. When it was discovered that we needed a new part for the rotisserie we also were told the part would be ordered. Mike claimed he would check with the company to order the part. I got no response. When I called him and left messages he didn’t return my calls once the initial work was completed. When I finally reached him he told me to call and gave me the number because the barbecue is an older model and the part might might not be available anymore. If this information had been made clear from the start we would have purchased a new barbecue. Mike left out key details in his response. As indicated in my initial review, “Beware!” Oh, and BTW, the barbecue has leaked gas since Barbecue Renew cleaned and “refurbished” our barbecue.

Less than 5 years ago, I spent $1,400 on a KitchenAid built in BBQ. It's been mostly an awful product and it recently stopped working with numerous problems. I had two other companies come out to give me an estimate to repair, but they all advised that I just buy a new grill (through them of course). BBQ Renew was open and honest that they could probably fix the grill, but it would be a "band aid", which could give me another year of use. The gave me an estimate and delivered a killer repair all in the same day. I highly recommend their services and I will be using them again when I actually need to buy a new grill. Thanks.

We used this company 3 to 4 years ago to restore a barbecue. They did an OK job. When my husband decided he wanted to buy a new one I suggested we see how refurbishing would go again. He was skeptical. I called BBQ RENEW and they did a wonderful job scheduling to get out here between summer parties. They did a magnificent job. They replaced igniter's and my barbecue look brand-new again. I would recommend them to neighbots , friends, and clients
