This is legitimately my favorite Italian restaurant in Austin. I have frequented Gino's since it opened and it has never disappointed! My kids love it as well for a couple reasons: 1) the food is amazing, of course, and 2) the staff treats them so well and makes them feel welcomed! The parking......sucks, but do NOT let that deter you! Park behind the hotel or at Home Depot and walk the short, SHORT, walk. Most every time, Gino is there to welcome you and shake your hand (pre COVID) and will answer any questions about the menu. There is a second location in Round Rock (I think) but I have not visited there.

If I could give them more stars, I would. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! The servers, the drinks, the food and the environment is amazing. Gino is so genuine and makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. My favorite spot, hands down. Perfect place for any occasion!

Gino's restaurant is so wonderful! Very cute, little Italian place with great food! We got wonderful service, and Gino even stopped by our table to check on us. I had the chicken piccata and my husband had the chicken parm. Both were excellent and came with delicious pasta that they make in house. We ended dinner with the homemade cannolis, and they were absolutely amazing!! Definitely recommend this great restaurant all around!!

Wanted to like this place but I wasn’t impressed by the seafood squid ink pasta with pomodoro sauce. Seafood tasted like it was frozen, not fresh, and the pasta was okay - it didn’t stand out in the way that handmade pasta usually does. Perhaps it had been made earlier in the week. The garlic bread starter was also super oily - not my cup of tea. Service was friendly, but overall the food was just okay.
