I truly enjoy coming here! Only 7mins away from home! I prefer being alone, so late night hikes are my favorite, especially when the moon is out, to see best! The hike is a good 3miles one way down to the creek and out through the neighborhood, which you can go through to get back to your vehicle. Be warned, the hills are steep going through the neighborhood hahaha...The stairs of this trail gives a great lower body workout! You will be sore if this is your first time hiking and/or working out.

A great hike, almost all stairs. The stairs are very narrow but everyone on the trail was very polite. Bring a snack and lots of water.

Araiaf

Good long trail (I believe 5 miles) nestled between a golf course and the river place community. It’s an in and out trail so make sure to turn at halfway point if you can’t make the full thing. Alternatively, the ends of the trail are only about a mile apart so you may walk back on street or get an Uber if you don’t wanna go back the same way. Lots of native vegetation and a few old growth cedar and oak trees. There is about 1000ft of elevation gain so it will get your heart rate up in some sections. Be ready with a $10 entrance fee.

Love this trail! Lots of steps! Very well maintained. It’s a $10 charge on the weekend. There are no water drinking spots so next time I’d definitely bring water with so many uphills.
