I lived here from October 2020 to September 2021. I absolutely loved Brenna, she was so sweet and helpful whenever I talked to her. Kelli Boos on the other hand was EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL from the second she began working there. I- like a LOT of my fellow Social residents- fell on hard times and applied for rent relief through the state of Texas. I had extenuating circumstances that prevented me from paying my rent- which I communicated with them- and Kelli Boos was the exact opposite of empathetic. She literally scoffed at me and said, “you better pay your rent.” Fortunately I was approved for the relief, IN JULY, and I talked with Kelli on multiple occasions asking for assistance with the application process: specifically the method through which the relief is paid. The complex was supposed to have a direct line of communication with the Texas Rent Relief program, and Kelli told me that they did not and that she could not help me. They literally sent the entire complex an email saying we should apply and then she told me she didn’t know what I was talking about. She proceeded to send me notices to vacate in an attempt to get me to break my lease, and stopped answering my attempts to contact her until the literal week I had to move out and become homeless. The relief I conveniently received a WEEK after I left would have paid my back rent and about 4 months in advance. Because I still owed money when I left, I was unable to apply for any other apartment. I lived in my car for months. Kelli Boos’ blatant refusal to help me in one of the most vulnerable times in my life lead to me being homeless. I believe that she was aware of my relief application the entire time, but wanted me out of the apartment so badly that she essentially blocked any of my attempts to remedy my situation , and actually managed to make me feel worthless while she did it.

Unfortunately Brenna is not working there anymore, she was nice, Kelli boos is rude and useless. You going to be charge for pest control that will never show up the entire year so be ready for cockroaches, leaks and musty smell… you will be forced to pay 15+25 for valet trash, at first the service was bad but at the end it was better. Gun shoots in front at the 7 eleven and people jumping so easily into the property. My bike thief 2 times and their insurance doesn’t cover anything and you just going to be ignored, outside people harassing you at your door.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I cannot stress this enough. This has been an absolute nightmare. I wanted to move out last year when my lease was up but it was in the middle of the pandemic and circumstances made it impossible. I have been without heat and hot water for months at one point. Work orders go ignored. I have had an active leak in the ceiling of my bathroom for 2 years that has turned into mold growth that I am currently fighting with them to get addressed properly. The apartment management will penalize you for speaking up with additional charges and fees. I have had to spend 5 hours a day reporting the circumstances to various licensing and regulatory agencies for two weeks to even get a simple response. Shippy propertiesand the various management staff have robbed me of dignity while charging me for it. My experience is not exclusive and my warnings are sincere to perspective residents. This is not the place you want to stay unless you want to sacrifice time and peace of mind to become an expert in tenant's rights and Texas bureaucracy just to have a safe and healthy environment to call home. Keep looking and good luck to you.

My one bedroom is $1120 ! I thought it would be $1029 like the advertisement said. I went 2 months without air conditioning and heat. I had no doorknobs in my unit. My bathroom ceiling has a leak and what did maintenance do? Cut a hole in the ceiling and put a cardboard box over it. The leak is not fixed and now my bath tub is growing mold from it. I can’t wait until my lease is up. Do not move to this scamming community!
