This school has been nothing but misleading and an inconvenience since day one. There attendance software is severely flawed but if it doesn’t work you as a student are to blame. They also will tell you that your 7-10 hours of “home hours” are optional only to find out once you start that they are mandatory and if not completed weekly you will eventually be dropped from the program. The staff is unresponsive and show little sympathy or compassion to any of their students. I highly do NOT recommend

I have been a client of Avenue 5 for about 10 years. I absolutely love the service and attention I receive. I cannot tell you how ecstatic I am that they are open to the public again! I've recently had 2 great appts with Kendra. She has found her calling in this business. Great attention to detail and her skill level is fantastic. She has a lovely chairside manner and is a great conversationalist as well. Kendra, thank you so much for helping me thru the heat meltdown! Your customer service is above and beyond! I appreciate you! Denise, I haven't forgotten about you. It's always nice to see a familiar face when I walk thru the door. You're great with the students. I enjoy your sense of humor too! This was my first time at a salon since I moved to Texas. So I went in knowing what color I wanted, Purple, but I was advised we would have to lighten/bleach my hair to get to a good starting point since I had dark red hair. Emily was amazing, so was her instructor, and they stayed after closing to make sure I still got the proper treatment. I really appreciated that instead of kicking me out and rushing through the process. They're very friendly, and super reasonably priced, so I highly reccomend them to anyone who wants a good job on their hair but on a budget. Def my new fav spot.

As a first time visit, I was very impressed and satisfied. They were very warm and courteous from the moment I made the appointments with Paloma, who kindly explained the different options available for our facials. The moment we walked through the doors for our appointments (4 total), we were greeted with smiles and open arms and the girls were able to help us out in getting everything in order. The process itself was very warm and relaxing. The girls were able to keep conversation going, making the process quite enjoyable. You could see the love and passion Carla, Miranda and Ashley poured through each phase. Miranda was very delicate with my grandmother's conditions, Ashley and Carla flexed their depth in treatment and product knowledge with questions that my mom and Emily came up with while also providing tips and improvements in their habitual rituals to tackle those points of concern. Once it was my turn to lay down for my treatment, Carla was very kind and thorough. She definitely went above and beyond. Over all, I would definitely recommend it to anybody that asked and will definitely look forward to coming in again.
