Maintenance:5/5 Management : All the issues with gates, and pool bbq pits 1/5 Gym : 1/5 Location:4/5 I love living out this way. Price: Price increase was completely uncalled for , and it went up a lot . Road construction and traffic is a normal thing. I just don’t see how the value went to such a huge price jump, when all we have gotten is way more road construction that’s nonstop. Dog Park: it’s such a pretty dog park if it had more general upkeep. Apartments: love the open floor plans . Landscaping : 2/5

If you live here, make sure you thuroughly check your rent charges for accuracy, because they will definitely attempt to overcharge you. Then you will have to deal with the staffs utter incompetence. The staff here do not know how to do anything other than write down your complaint and throw it in the trash. The numerous times I was double charged for valet trash or other utilities, it took multiple attempts to even get an answer or reply. They expected me to pay nonsensical extra fees without sending me a ledger to explain. They did not warn me about painting my balcony, thus I stuck my hand in wet paint and found that my privacy screen that I paid for and put on my balcony railing was ripped off and half was missing. When I contacted the office to verify my email address, they rudely told me twice that I just must not be reading their emails, turns out they had saved my guarantors email to their file instead of mine. Took 3 attempts to convince the staff that they had the wrong email. They don’t respect residents, you are just a huge dollar sign to them. Oh yeah, and there’s no parking so good luck with that. A one bedroom apartment 20 minutes away from downtown for $1700 a month with no parking and basically no staff? This place is laughable. But in an absurdly frustrating way.

Know that if you are living out here it can take 30 minutes to get downtown and the road construction is only going to get worse. the price is not worth what you are getting. We are going on our second year of living here. There have been a couple of management changes with the current one being Alister. I can update this as things change and we are still here. We have experienced charges such as pet rent and double trash being charged when it wasn't supposed to be. It always got resolved but can be a pain to call every month, so far we haven't had a problem this month. I would also like to say how friendly and efficient the maintenance staff is, I love having such a great team. I want to talk about the rising prices and turnover of residents. when we first moved here in November 2020 rent for our unit was $1,100. The rent for the same unit if you moved in now is $1,575. I find this increase insane given the location. I think because they slapped some paint on the outside they justified raising the price. We have recently noticed many people leaving and lots of empty units. We think it is because of the raising prices when re-signing leases. I am sad to say we will be one of them if the current tenant's rents keep increasing as I have been hearing. We like living here and want to continue!

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience so far with Alister Oak Hill apartments. I had a wonderful tour and was thoroughly explained my lease and what is to be expected of me as a new resident. Raquel made this experience easy and she was very welcoming. Thanks for the great customer service Raquel, I look forward to living at Alister.
