Stayed here last summer, this place is great. Cocktails are great with good appetizers. Nice quiet place to relax if you ever are near or just wanna stop by. Definitely planning on coming back. Just pay respect to Goerge when your on the second floor👻

Inn on the River is steps from the Paluxy River, walking distance to downtown Glen Rose and a short drive to Fossil Rim. Breakfast was delicious every morning and we spent evenings connecting with nature behind the property(on the river). Check this place out if you want the perfect small town experience in Glen Rose.

We randomly stopped in Glen Rose for a snack and a drink on a road trip and ended up staying the night at Inn on the River. The staff was so warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed breakfast and the hospitality was great. I really enjoyed the company from the resident dogs on site.

In the heart of Glen Rose, there is an oasis of tranquility known as Inn on the River. Breakfast each morning was a culinary adventure and such a great way to start the day. The room was well furnished and comfortable. The Inn is only a few blocks from the courthouse and local restaurants, which were excellent, and minutes from nearby attractions such as Dinosaur World, Dinosaur Valley State Park, and Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. Pam is such a delightful and charming hostess and Scott was such fun to talk with. Both are an integral part of Glen Rose who, out of a deep sense of community, have taken the lead to assist their fellow townspeople during these recent times of adversity. Snyder’s Tavern, which is located behind the main building, provided an opportunity to experience Pam’s gastronomic wizardry in a dinner setting, accompanied by a selection from their excellent wine list. This is an experience not to be missed. We look forward to returning to Glen Rose and to Inn on the River for rest and relaxation. It is truly a spa for the mind, body, and soul.
