Not a fancy frills type rv park but huge full hook up spots with incredible views! The camp manager, while not on site, is just the greatest guy. He promptly answered all our phone calls and texts and went out of his way to answer all our questions. Don’t be surprised that you will drive past a trucking yard next door as you enter the drive but I promise you will not even see it once you’re actually in the park. I highly recommend Solitude.

From the turn off the Hwy we really were in love with this place. The views are gorgeous and it is so beautiful. The staff was so friendly. The WiFi was amazing. We will come back for sure.

Our Family camped here for a month and we had a amazing time! Eric was great and kept the grounds nice and clean. The name fits it perfectly it is solitude. Its different from other RV parks- its quiet and simple with amazing views. Nothing fancy just peaceful. This is our favorite Rv spot so far!! Access to endless hiking (NF) and fishing. Plus, Dubois is a amazing town as well. Friendly folks and our kind of town 🇺🇸. The grocery store, Perch Coffee Shop, Ace Hardware, Cowboy Cafe, Noon's Pizza, St. Thomas Church, and Nana's, was awesome!! Thank you Eric! God bless! Great memories for our family 🇺🇲

We found ourselves in a parking lot in Dubois late at night after trying to outrun a snowstorm last week. My husband and I were looking online for a place to spend the night when a Sheriff’s vehicle pulled up beside us and asked if we were ok. We explained our situation and that we were looking for a place just for the rest of the night, because we needed to pull out in the morning. He told us he knew of a place and actually escorted us to the park and helped my husband back into the spot in the dark. Turned out, he was the owner of the park. We tried to pay him for the space, but he refused to take money from us “for doing a good deed. Besides, you are only staying a few hours.” He told us to hook up to the fifty amp service, and get a good nights sleep before pulling out. Not only was he friendly and helpful, he went way out of his way to help us. The next morning we could see the space was wonderful! Huge distance between spaces, incredible views, and privacy, with full 30/50 amp hookup. He won a customer for life that night. We will make it a point to stay at this park every time we are in the area. The space had a fire pit, complete with a stack of wood, and a picnic table. You won’t be sorry for choosing this place. We travel full time and were very impressed.
