Beautiful place to stay but for the mosquitoes. Nice view of the lake. Camp host keeps grounds very clean. Very dog friendly. I didn't see any running water so bring plenty. Toilets are vaulted and very clean. Sights have bear boxes. ALlL TRASH MUST BE TAKEN WITH YOU! Town was very close for food, water and any essentials.

Excellent gem right on the shores of Fremont Lake. Standard basic sites with fire ring, picnic table, bear box, 1-2 bars Verizon, and amazing views of the pristine lake. Stop over stay on way from Yellowstone to Colorado. About 6 miles north of Pinedale on good paved roads (some potholes). Lynn the camp host was very friendly. Stayed at site 34 which is a weird first come first served road side eyelet site. Best part was across from site was a trail that takes you down to fine gravel and rock beach. Water was crystal clear, cold, and a number of fish were biting. Recommend a 26 foot or less RV at this site for a night or maybe two although it’s odd. Would be a good tent site.

Nice large developed CG on a beautiful lake. Only 6.1 mi from Pinedale on paved road entire way but some potholes along the way. This is the best CG in area for most folks with TTs and RVs (tents not so much), as cg loops are paved and amenities/camp hosts present. 50 sites total, 16 sites are FF, rest can be reserved. $12 nite/$6 senior, 14 d limit. Water spigots scattered around but no TT/RV dump and no full hookups. Cell signal is dependent on location..closer to lake or more on south end the cell signal is better. Very nice boat ramp area with parking and a dumpster (only one for entire CG). Day use beach at north end of cg is best for kayaks and other non-motorized water craft launches. Fremont Group Camp area is on the upper gravel rd just outside the main entrance to the regular Fremont CG. Group camp rate is $35 nite but camping is better suited to TT and RVs as the tent spots appear to be very limited.

Great campground, one of the finest anywhere. Lower campground is all paved, many in the lake. Picnic and boat launch areas.
