My husband and I had a great morning hiking the palm canyon and victor trails in this park. It was quite hot initially but as we got up slightly in elevation on the victor trail it was gorgeous. Great mountain views and absolute silence. It’s about a 3 mile loop. We loved it!

Does anyone say rattlesnakes? This place is simply awesome, if you are in the area you must stop by. The Palm Canyon loop is pretty easy but spectacular. I've seen a lot of families on this one and for a reason. The path is shaded for the most part. If you're going after 10:00AM you might find yourself coming back from the same way since the rest of the loop is completely under the sun. You're allowed to re-entry during the same day, although you can spend 3-4 hours in the park and it a few trails.

Fantastic walk with the family!! Excellent diversity of terrain and sights. A choice of mild to medium terrain difficulty, and plenty of spots to shelter from the sun. Nice little gift center and restrooms.

It is $12/person to enter this park. It was well worth the money. We did the palm canyon trail and made it a loop so we were above the palm trees to return to the trading post. It was 2.5 miles total for the loop. It was a beautiful hike. Port-a-potties available at the trading post. We also did the Andreas loop which is 1 mile and beautiful. The port-a-pottie toilet was full and had no toilet paper, but had water and soap outside of it to wash hands. When we left at noon on a Sunday, there was a huge line to get into the park.
