The Wind Caves in Anza Borrego State Park are a great site to see and are only a short half mile hike from the wash below. The wind caves also offer a great view of the wash below and the surrounding hills and mountains.

What a 25-minute dirt road ride that was covered with 'ribs', rocks, & soft sand. You need a high riding vehicle with tires that can take the beating of all the rocks. Once at the trailhead, it's all uphill until you get to the wind caves. Personally the wind was not blowing so I didn't get to hear any unique sounds. AND I saw no bats nor droppings. Those 'caves' were clean. The one thing that I did see, after reading the sign at the trailhead which said "No dogs", was a ____ dog. Men, please, hold back the love. On the way back down take the path less traveled. You'll be surprised.

Short easy hike from "road". Great views of surrounding areas. Caves are cool. 4wd is recommended to get here.

About 1 mile uphill hike from the trailhead at fish creek and you'll arrive at this beautiful land feature with a spectacular view of the Carrizo Badlands. Perfect place to take photos, and enjoy the solitude if there are no other visitors.
