THIRD UPDATE!!!!! I had a bathroom issue today, June 21, 2022, and Wade and Walter are so very efficient ..... I wrote an Ode to Wade and Walter, and shared it with them and the office. I am putting it below: Ode to Wade and Walter at 4800 Excelsior The toilet goes slow, The water won’t flow, It’s clear as can be, But there’s something I can’t see, So I put in the order, and they come the same day, With a snake, and an air pressure tube, And their muscles to find a way……. With some shoving and pushing and flushing a lot, After a spell, the toilet is NOT…………. …….slow anymore. Thank you Wade and Walter for your quick response, friendly attitude, and good sense of humor as you tackle repairs in our apartments each day. Ellen UPDATE: I am writing a SECOND review of 4800 as I enter my third year living here. I am still super happy with my choice in apartment homes and want to give a special shout out to the maintenance team of Wade and Walter. Walter was just here last week replacing light bulbs in the kitchen, and they've attended to a few other work orders in the past since I switched apartments in the same building in July, 2021. They are always prompt, fun to chat with, and very professional in their work. As Wade always says, 'I stand by my work,' and I know Walter does, too. I also want to welcome / mention Michal and Tony who now work in the office: also friendly, prompt to respond to concerns, and great to have around. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We've been at 4800 since July 2019, and it's great. The location can't be beat with parks and trails nearby, plus a grocery store right below us, along with other stores and close access to major freeway systems and the Minneapolis chain of lakes. Everyone who works here is outstanding - friendly, responsive to requests and questions, and mindful of 'pandemic life' at this time in history. Wade and team are always on top of any maintenance requests, and Jordan, Cole and Emily in the office make this place 'home' with monthly newsletters, activities, and attention to resident needs. When open, the pool, hot tub, exercise room, fifth floor patio, party room and lounge area are all amenities that help make this 'home.' In fact, my little granddaughter likes to call 4800 the 'palace.' We have no regrets making this our first apartment choice after living in and owning homes for 30 years.

My wife and I have really loved our time at 4800 and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great community! The management staff has always been polite, accommodating, and fair. The cherry on top is a top notch maintenance staff that is respectful and willing to help with any request at the drop of a hat.

I have lived here almost a year. I have really enjoyed my time at this complex and even upgraded to a larger unit and extended my time. The complex is always spotless, the cleaning crew never stops! If you have any maintenance issues, they get to them right away. The leasing specialists are always friendly and willing to help. Everyone who works here is super friendly and always greets people by name. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking to move

Ok so I wanted to wait a year to experience the full lease again process and be as objective as possible. I cannot praise more the front office and management team. All its members are friendly professional and on top of things. From cleaning to maintenance to just going the extra mile, they have been amazing. And my renewal with Dana was a breeze. She cannot be more professional kind and friendly. The facilities are top notch. Gym and Yoga room are excellent, of si were picky I'd say next thing for gym is an online trainer TV. Again that is being picky. Everything is beyond we one could need for a great workout. Common areas are perfect. Spacious, modern, clean, easy to reserve where applicable. Parking is very affordable and one has no idea how valuable this is until winter has been set for a couple months. Location is perfect, close and easy access to highways and parks and close enough to drive or uber ride to uptown and even downtown. Supermarkets, pharmacy, parks, fast food and restaurants and within walking distance. Apartments are modern, spacious and quiet. Balconies are perfect size. The community is a mix of young professionals and some small families. All respectful, friendly and some outgoing. I guess we perceive differences depending on where we have lived in the world. Above all everyone is nice. Rules are enforced with a friendly heads up and us as tenants we have a duty to keep things clean, organized and within such set rules. I am thrilled I found this place to live! I'd recommend it in a second!
