Enjoyed family time at my favorite day spa! Definitely don't have this at home in Kansas. We relaxed in each spa, did the cold/hot combo, enjoyed the music from the class in the pool below, and put our feet in the big pool. Lunch was fabulous! We shared spicy shrimp tacos, salmon sandwich, and Buffalo cauliflower bread. The 3 items each had a kick, but were delicious. We concluded our day in the grotto with an apple and tea for dessert. My skin hasn't been this soft since the last time I visited. Thank you for all the memories!

The facilities are great, well kept and set in a lush oasis-like environment. The food at the restaurant was first class. The employees were all above par. The only problem was the place was over crowded and noisy, and they kept blaring bad 80s pop music over a speaker. It was not spa-like at all. Really a shame, because the facilities are so nice. I was there mid-week, and I suspect its even worse on weekends. If you are looking for a spa experience, this is not it. I felt exhausted at the end of the day, from all the crowds and noise. But if you are looking for an uptempo party atmosphere, you would probably enjoy the place.

I have had the pleasure to experience this spa with my daughter Harmony, twice. So relaxing to sit in the mineral waters, then on to the mud! Sun bathing covered with red clay is so much fun. Make sure to make an appointment upon arrival for some time in the steam grotto. Wonderful health conscious menu in the patio restaurant. Plus so many other little extras available.

This place is so pricey but so good! The massages are amazing and they keep your records like if you were at a clinic! The only thing I don't like is the food because it's too expensive and not supper incredible. All and all, I absolutely recommend this place, especially if you're not a club kind of girl like I am not. Oh and make sure to go early because you wanna make sure to enjoy the whole day.

Rules have changed recently. We went in Feb 2018, and now admission is free with a purchase of any service.
Bring your own flip flops, waterproof! They have bins of fresh towels and water to drink are both complimentary.
Yes, but an advance Reservation would be highly suggested as they tend to book up quickly for the day.
Glen Ivy Hot Springs has not errected their own hotel to date, however they are approved to begin construction. The closest reputable hotel would be the Ayers Inn in Corona South
I went in February and it was cold. I still had a great time and enjoyed all the different pools
I paid about $15-20 for lunch and a drink for one person, but the nachos were really good and honestly I could have split them with someone because the portions were huge. You get in line and put what you want on a tray then pay for it, so it is restaurant style food in a nice setting but you are not seated and served.
Now you need to make a reservation to enter Glen Ivy.
Yes. When you check in you can link your gift card to your phone number
Yes. We did. It was so relaxing. They tell ya what pool to get in after your message. Awesome place
Be aware if you are 16 to 18 they want 2 types of official identification with birthday and pictures on them or you won't get in.
No, now they give you admission for 18.00 with a spa treatment. But that is any day of the week. I think they changed management and and changed the marketing strategies. So the admission costs increased, did away with birthday promotions and everything... Sad.
They have a website
No food or drinks allowed, but their restaurant has really good food options. Prices are not bad and complimentary water is available throughout the park.
Admission only is $85. However, there are a limited number of spots and you do still need to make a reservation to get in for the day.
Nop My current visit on July July 3rd was my mother's Present Gift and it took us that long to be able to schedule The time on the phone its just Horrible trying to schedule an appointment its just Crazy this days . .......... But On the brighter side I enjoy my day it was very relaxing 🧡🧡🧡🧡
Yes. This is a cashless facility however you are welcome to leave tips in cash credit cards and debit cards will be the best way to handle all purchases to include services
Alexandra, the current general admission, A.K.A "Taking the Waters" M-F is $52 until Feb 29th. Then it goes up from there. Weekends are $72, also only through the end of the month & will go up from there .
Yes, there is a $30 cost for the Grotto. I was advised to make all reservations weeks in advance because they will fill up fast. And also an FYI, Military and Teachers with ID get discount on entrance fee.
No you don't
No hot food anymore. Just pastries, cookies, juices, etc.
Not sure about men's, but the ladies does have individual showers with shower curtains and enough room to change. The locker area has a couple of curtained stalls to change in if desired.
Men and women are welcome, as are mature teenagers, but no little children.
If you can get back to the printscreen I would try doing that first. If you can't get to the printscreen I would call Glen ivy directly and ask if they could send you a copy and void the old one.
If you are going just for the hot springs and no massages or anything like that, you do not need to make a reservation just for going in.
It's no need to make reservations you go and tell them what you want and they charge you or give you the option to leave your credit card open until you leave
We went on Wednesday and Thursday. The desk staff let us know that the weekends are lot more crowded.
Yes. Shorter hours, but a little cheaper too. Still very nice
Yes you can call them and tell them what kind of package you want and then give them the date and if they have anything open then they will schedule you an appointment. Happy birthday, I hope this info helps and you're able to get in.
The evening service from 4pm to 9pm ? That's the late night spa up until October , it's best to go in person and book for a future date if it's not allowing you to book is because there's no more reservations available
Best to give them a call if you don't see that option on the website. I called to book my reservation.
Unfortunately I think this might be the closest place like this to San Diego
I don't remember but the best deal is buying the year pass at the time when I purchased it it was $585 for one year go as many times as you want. I think the first 90 days I went 52 days I only live a mile away from the resort it was great.
Nope
No. None of the minerals pool's need reservations. It's more like a first come basis. Most pools are large enough for more than two people. I believe the only pool that can hold 2 people is the sulfur pools. Your paid admission will give you access to the pools. The grotto is a separate addition and you will need a reservation for that one.
They are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas
I visited with a mask for indoors and my massage. No mask outside. All open in 9/21
9am to 5pm open 7 days a week all year except Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Not sure it would be best to call to make sure
No you do not need to make reservations. I believe with the current membership you get 4 guest passes a year.
Can't use? Have you contacted glen Ivy's customer service? Or presented them at the spa? If bought at the spa, they should be valid
Yes right now you can only do the "passport to wellness" package which requires reservation
There's no age limit for this Resort. This is open to Family and Friends get away.
Black, green and chamomile that I remember for sure but they have a lot of little other bags for you to choose and make your tea. They also have a fresh green apple for you
Check the website or call
Nope. It's dirt all around besides the parking lot. And there are lots of signs warning of snakes. I wouldn't take the chance.
Only in the respective gender specific bath house.
You pay to get in and then the various pools indoors and outdoors included as well as stream room in lockers and saunas. The grotto is an extra fee as are all massages/facials/Mani/pedi. Any food and drink extra. There is ice water and towels free for use. free entry for birthday only with a booked 50 minute or more service like massage. The grotto would not be a service that would be enough to get free admission. It's only 25 dollars. The Mani or pedi it's also not enough. A massage or facial of at least 50 minutes at approx. Ninety dollars would get you free admission in the extract date of your birthday.
No outside food's are allowed, I'm not sure about the drinks, but I am assuming no because they sell. drinks there
Generally I have found they're usually listed online (the glen ivy website) or by calling the spa reservations line and asking for promotional details not listed online. It seems they're pretty good about updating their website. You can also subscribe to emails. Occasionally you'll get an email with special offers.
900 to 1350. https://www.glenivy.com/club-1860-membership/
General Admission to Taking in the Waters Rates June 1 – August 31, 2019: $55 (Monday – Thursday) $75 (Friday – Sunday and Holidays)
Depends on the day last Thursday was 52 dollars
9am. Get there early if you want a good spot. 0830 to get in line and check in... chairs are gone by 11am or sooner during summer.
Get there early when it opens. You don't need to bring anything except be in swimsuit. Towels and ice water are everywhere. I don't think paying for Cabana is worth it because you spend little time there. You need to go to hot and cold planter pools for amazing circulation. Go 30 seconds ice cold pool and 5 minutes hot pool at least 3 to 5 reps. The sauna is right by there too. A must stop. The sulpher springs are a must. The stream room in the locker rooms is amazing. The mud is fun. Sometimes I skip. You want to get a bean bag at the floating pool and float there for hours relaxing in sun with these amazing dragonflies that come to you. The grotto is nice to do as last thing. Make an appointment when you arrive and put your cc on file so can get drinks and whatever you want during day. Massages are great there. Facial nice. But it's the pools that are the best and you could just do that. You can get breakfast/lunch/cocky there. No outside food brought in allowed.
I think it would be best for you to call to get an answer.
Here is "AGE Please note that Glen Ivy welcomes guests age 16 and over. Spa treatments are available for guests age 18 and over. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian of the same gender. Please bring driver’s license or other proof of age if you are 16 years or older. "
It is usually by time and what is involved. All services are 90-150 before tip.
I paid $51.00 Las week Thursday but didn't do any of the extras. Did the Mud Grotto, paid for a healthy lunch. Drinking water and towel stations locations throughout the spa.
I am currently employed therr and there are no free services regarding admissions that I am aware of. However, there package deals if you call the 1-800 glen ivy number.
If you're referring to the essential oils they use in the steam rooms inside the locker rooms - it's typically eucalyptus and or lavender. And yes, they do sell their products in the retail shop.
You can see the menu here: https://www.glenivy.com/the-glen-ivy-experience/indulge-dining/
I remember 9am for an opening time. They also have an afternoon/evening package. Have fun if you choose Glen Ivy.
You have to pay an entry fee to get in which is $50 on a weekday. No matter how long or short you stay the price does not change.
No , call back ask for a supervisor get name and notate time and date
Yes. Ask for couple's massage.
Their gift card does not expire. Yes there is always an entrance fee. It is discounted often times if you get a treatment.
I do believe they have locals discount but I don't know if it's restricted to certain times of the year you could give a call that would be your best bet
it'd be best to call
Regular shower cap is fine.
The prices are posted on the website. There are specials some times, like 2 for 1 entry. Check in often. Also there are gift cards available at a discount, also seasonal. That's what my family gifts me for Christmas
No. No bringing in of food and beverages allowed. There is plenty of choices for you to order
yes
Check their Cancellation Policy. I think you will be charged. Sorry.
No i believe its all summer
My husband purchased one for me on the Glen Ivy website.
I am not sure, but green can be because of the minerals in the water. PS: I have heard anyone got sick!!! Hope this helps.
The package includes the admission for 2 past 4p, 2 grotto body treatments, and 2 entrees and fountains drinks from their ivy kitchen.
The perfect place for couples. The cost is up to you. General admission is $50 ea. Mon-Thurs. $70 Fri-Sun. You have the use of pools, saunas, Jacuzzis, mineral baths, etc.
I'm sure they'll be understanding of the situation. Call them.
I believe admission is only free on your birthday if you book a 50 minute (or longer) service.
There are large parties there. I would call to find out if there's a discount for larger parties.
9am
Vinegar or hydrogen peroxide and baking soda might work. Wouldn't try it if your hair is dyed.
Check the website for admission: it changes based on day of the week and the time of year. Admission includes all the pools and hot tubs, yoga, water aerobics and the clay treatment.
$50 Tues-Thurs. $70 Fri-Mon. It was $35 after 4pm Fri & Sat. Not sure if that has changed. That is only during summer hours.
I'm not sure but you can call their number and it will give you the information regarding hours and holidays. Now they have Twilight hours on weekends which is neat because you can go there and enjoy the later afternoon and evening and listen to music as well!
Sign up to receive e-mails from them and they will send you specials on gift cards.
Right at opening time , I have gotten there on a weekend an hour after and it was already packed
It is best to call them about group rates. They are very helpful when planning events. The prices vary based on what you want.
The ticket price includes only use of the pools and bathrooms. The website has info on prices for other services. For example, an hour of simple massage is $ 100. You buy service the entrance is encluyida (I think).
The recording is misleading. Just hold and someone will pick up. 😊
Jacumba Hot Springs and Mammoth Hot Springs are two places in CA that offer a hot spring hotel experience. Jacumba is most affordable, but the deluxe experience is at Mammoth. Also consider Glenwood Springs in Colorado.
Yes, for same day.
I believe all the way up to them being open. We looked in to it.
No nudity is required for the areas you are refering to
Only 16 year old and up and if under 18 parent must be present for any services
Of course. There tretments done for couples. Also the common areas with different pools, Groto. You will have a great time. The only downside its availability, so you have to book it in advance
I'd say no on both questions
You cant bring outside food or drinks. They have reasonably priced yummy things to purchse though. I agree with putting your card on file when you check in. It makes it easier if you dont have to keep track of your credit card or cash throughout the day. They have plenty of towels. But a sun hat and suimsuit coverup are my must haves.
No actually that's a perfect weather for the hot springs ;)
No restrictions on where you can use the gift cards
Coupons available on website, and Facebook page for sure.
It's a nice place to spend a day or two approximately.
Yes... several
Yes, the only location is in Corona
I would check the website because I believe the price varies depending how you purchase it, if it's in conjunction with other services, if it purchased at the door or ahead of time with admission.
Ots for everyone. All shapes & sizes too. No one cares who you are because everyone wants to relax.
They do not. But there are a few hotels nearby.
