Absolutely beautiful! Kids park is super cute. We went to the Pirate Renaissance Faire and had a ton if fun! Park is large. People were swimming in the lake (not recommend water looked nasty) and fishing! (2019) Still just as amazing and more vendors this year! (2022)

We love to come here to enjoy the outdoors, feed the ducks and play around either on the playground or on the soccer field.

Enjoyed a peaceful day at the lake fishing with My Husband & Father. We caught 3 nice size trout. The lake is clean. The workers are very nice. There was quite a few people fishing but everyone seemed to abide by the 6 feet distancing requirement. Mask are required inside the store. There is a $22.00 fee for fishing. Fishing licences is not required. If you like fishing this is a nice late to go to. There is alot of fishing areas & parking. There is also a campground. They have an actual restroom but where we parked it was quite a ways to walk, so we used the portable restroom & to My Surprise it was Very clean.

It was our first time here but it was really nice. We took lunch and had a little picnic. They have a lot of tables available under really shady trees, they have a cool little stream with clean running water and a lot of ducks and geese around. Perfect family environment and a really nice place to bring your kids. Pet friendly as well. Really clean nice area to spend a family day .

Yes! Amazing everyone is so kind.
That depends do you wanna go fishing or are you just walking around the park it is free to walk around you need a fishing license to be able to fish.
Yes on the backside of the lake there's a row of Memorial trees
Bread is not really healthy for ducks. Maybe puck up some duck food before you go
I saw kids riding bikes and they also have a playground and creeks that kids were walking i
Yes it does. It has a full playground with big swings and little swings on a Merry-Go-Round and lots of things for kids to climb on. Pretty cool place for the whole family
Yes on RV, hookups and all. 35 or 40$ a night
Yes! On a leash and don't bite☺ I take my 2 dogs there all the time.
I think do but not in winter. Call them for info
Sorry they don't rent spaces for a month at a time!
Yes, dogs are allowed, but they must be on a leash.
Last I checked it was mainly catfish, I believe they do have some trout and possibly small mouth bass... hope this helps
They were pulling fish out yesterday, not too sure when they restock
28 a day ....if there is an opening... No sewer hookups
Some days till 10:00 pm
Yes they do
It's free to get in,but it's $18 if your gong to fish.
The nice thing about this park is that its FREE!.....,for the most part. Access to the lake and surrounding grounds is free!, the only things you pay for is to fish and to camp. All other activities, including use of the playground, bbq's, bathrooms is totally free. As for trails?, you can walk around the lake(decent walk, level ground, benches and bathrooms abound. The sorrounding grounds do have a small stream that spans out from the lake to the equestrian side of the park, heading out to the desert. Multiple OFF ROAD VEHICLE trails abound across the street, gets a little busy on the weekends, a lot of people camp at the lake and head out to the hills in ATV's, NEVER had a rude group, they always drive in slow and dont make much of a fuzz while at camp. Hope this helps!....
No showers at the lake.
Ask them, as I think itisowned by thecounty, orthe city. WOuld 9make a nice site though.
Yes
Private pay to fish
No there is not a place for kids to swim but there is a stream that goes through the park that kids play in
Yes they do but they are small and not the cleanest since everyone uses them but they work just fine.
I've been through there a few times but years ago didn't remember thanks
No .
Equestrian camping is $20 per day. Includes two corrals for your horses. No electricity or hookups at the sites.
I didnt notice but there is a place you can park while its open
The regular campsites are $30 I believe and there are also equestrian campsites in the way back that are $20.
I would just go to Siverwood lake. It is better in so many ways
It is not for bathing, just to hang out there are many trees and there are games for the children and there are many ducks in case they want to bring them something to eat bread 😄😄😄😄😄
Water conservation, usually the water by the playground is flowing through for powwow Hesperia Days and stuff like that
Get nightcrawlers and a blower and float them off the bottom
Call and make reservation. Its 100 deposit. You get 50 back on the day of.
I believe it's Thursdays not completely sure. As for how much I'm sure its not a thousand pounds..
No cost for a visit. You can pay to fish in the lake and camp overnight in a tent or hookup your RV. Their store sells everything from fishing bait to coffee.
Who ever has id can get site for all going
It's free to enter play at the park walk around the lake they only charge for fishing and camping
I'm not positive I don't want to give you any bad information but the best way to find out when their stocking trout is go to the County of San Bernardino wildlife and you'll be able to find it on that website or just call the lake and they'll tell you
I agree!
Theres an area for camping but it's not that outdoorsy and it's pretty cramped
According to management, they stock weekly, either trout or catfish (depends on season). However, their rules might be changed without a notice. I visited the lake a few weeks ago and nothing was stocked that week. We spent 5 hours there, no fish at all. Not even 1 bite.
