I'm looking to bring a pop-up and camp here for about 3 days...a couple of questions. 1) Will our site be safe to leave and shop/roam a few hours at a time during the day? 2) Does the park have showers on site or somewhere close?

Yes! Amazing everyone is so kind.

As long as it's not a busy weekend the showers are fine their scalding hot and you have to push the button to keep the water running about every 20 seconds.... We've left our stuff there plenty of times in a tent in its been fine..... They do get a lot of riffraff on Friday and Saturday nights with very loud music playing....
