my expectations were in no way high, but this place disappointed. the room had not been cleaned, the blankets were burned in multiple spots, there was trash that had not been cleaned, half used shampoo and soap in the shower, the lights only turned on once, only one outlet worked and overall just felt gross. they also fail to mention you need a $60 deposit IN CASH before you get there.

This hotel is simple. Many people of all types stay here. Kinda bad neighborhood, but cops roll through this lot on the regular at all hours. I stayed over a month for local schooling and I never felt unsafe. People always coming and going looking for the best rate. This is the BEST rate local. They do not overcharge you, and also give you breakfast. Etta works in the mornings and she is a hard-working DOLL. DO NOT STAY AT RENAISSANCE their neighbor. RENAISSANCE will overcharge you for a tired hotel in the same neighborhood.

We chose this hotel for its price and proximity to the airport for a large student group -- we had 10 non-smoking rooms. Half of the rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. The halls smelled of cigarette smoke, there is no elevator, and the hallways were grimy. My room smelled like someone smoked in it the evening before, so I changed rooms. The new room smelled of stale vomit covered with air freshener. The comforter on the bed was ripped/burned, the blanket was a tatty, worn brown material, and the sheets had not been changed since the last guest -- they were wrinkled and stained in several places. I asked for clean sheets at the front desk. They were very nice, but didn't seem surprised or chagrined that I needed clean sheets. While waiting for sheets, I had taken my shoes off and discovered the floor was not clean and had chunks of unknown items -- I put my shoes back on. When the sheets arrived, I stripped the bed and discovered that the mattress pad was stained. I moved the mattress to put on the fitted sheet and discovered used tissues and other dirt/trash at the head of the bed. When I stripped the pillows, one was so dirty and stained, I wouldn't use it. I ended up moving to a new hotel. I have stayed in some low budget places before - other Super 8s, Motel 6, low-budget/older La Quinta hotels (with a roach that ran up the wall) -- I have never stayed in one as grimy, smelly and unkempt as this one.

Pros - Room door locked, lights and water worked, pillows were comfy, management was friendly Cons - bathroom was very dated, hallways smelled strongly of smoke, the walls didn't block much noise and residents were loud until 4am ish, a $60 deposit was needed at check-in and had to wait in lobby until hotel manager could verify I didn't damage my room before returning the deposit to my card. The staff was friendly but still not worth the money saved to stay here.

Don't know if they have a monthly rate, but based on my experience there for just 3 nights I certainly wouldn't stay a month. Front desk is " not happy", the room is dated.
Yes they do. Enjoy your stay.
