Bad check-in with staff on the phone jisting all through; then was greeted by flies inside room. No raid was available to use after telling the house keeper. I had to ho buy my raid to dis-insect / dis-fly my room before I could settle down. Ugly check out experience with staff too busy to properly check me out.

Rooms are okay for the pricing.. the parking lot a bit dark on one side .. the beds are bit hard but clean they have no USB charging stations overall okay might stop by again

I travel to Houston a lot for work and I always want to get out of Houston before any rush hour traffic hits. So I drive back to Lufkin and stay at this hotel to get a few hours of sleep before driving back home. The people that I have encountered at the front desk are always very nice and helpful. The rooms I have stayed in have been very clean. My only concern is the amount of ferel cats around there. I would love to see a rescue get them and find them homes.
