A guy with messed up teeth and wears glasses accused me of trying to buy and resell if I can't sell it then I would try to exchange the item. What the heck, rude! He has very bad customer service. Can't believe he calls himself a manager.

I donate here a lot, but the last few times I've been there the guy receiving has been really rude. I tried to give him the benefit of doubt and assumed he was having a hard time but when I went to donate today he was rude as usual but also aggressive. Made me really uncomfortable. When I asked for his name so I could make a complaint he refused and got threatening. I get that times are tough and people are on edge but whoever does the staffing here should consider that some people are better cut out for working behind the scenes and not interacting with people. I won't be shopping or donating here again.

Awful. When trying to drop off my donation on the street where cars are driving by a young man, of course appropriately masked for covid explained the procedure to me. It was impossible to unnderstand what he was saying because of his mask and the traffic. I asked him to repeat it and another car drove by. I didnt hear him. He gets agressively and says, "Obviously you are not listening to me when I am explaining this to you." I was actually afraid, and did my best get it over and leave. So for dontating to the Good Will expect to get intimidated and harassed.

The store is consistently clean; they keep track of people coming and going, so a Covid appropriate number of people are shopping at once. There are arrows in the aisles directing people traffic. Everyone is masked up. Safety aside, the staff here are friendly and helpful, as are the donation receivers on the side of the building on Borchard. Good place for thrifting.

Hello Robin and thank you for your interest in our organization. At Goodwill Industries of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, our mission is to provide vocational and educational opportunities to eliminate barriers to employment, strengthen communities, and help people in need reach their full potential through the power of work. In the last few years we have averaged helping 1,650 people per year, right here in our communities, to gain sustainable employment. Although our mission's primary focus is Workforce Services, we always strive to help our local communities in other ways where we can. One of those has been donating food and supplies to local animal shelters when they are in need. On our website, you will find our Annual Report; this will help to provide more details such as the ones you are looking for. http://gwvsb.org/
