Joe has created an amazing sanctuary for big cats. Many of these animals spent a majority of their lives in unimaginable conditions, and now they have the space and care they deserve. The enclosures are huge. The staff follow strict procedures to keep both humans and cats safe. We had an amazing afternoon seeing these beautiful creatures up close. Check them out if you're nearby!

This place is amazing! Really enjoyed the tour and our guide was really nice and very insightful on all the cats and their back stories. Keep in mind this is a RESCUE center. These people do an amazing job saving big cats and giving them a better home.

Recently found out about this place. I enjoyed being so close to all of the animals. Unlike the zoo, these big cats were mostly active walking around and making noises. Tour guide was friendly and informed on all the animals we saw. Will probably return in the fall in a bit so hot day and maybe see more action.

Great place to go to see big Cats up close. Make a reservation ahead of time since they take small groups on their tours. A guided tour through the grounds with any available information on each Feline. They rescue all types of felines from all over and many of the big cats are hollering at time during the tour. You are walking through paths & grass etc so wear shoes or sneakers. Will definitely go again.

It allows you to go one on one with a guide for an extended look at all the animals. About 2-2 1/2 hours, you see all the animals not visible on public tour, fantastic photo ops, and much more insight to the care and history of the animals. Well worth the price, in my opinion.
$10 per person. No senior or military discounts. It is a %100 not for profit. All their income is tours and donations.
Yes this is Outdoors if you have an older person that has trouble walking they have a golf cart that they can take him around on take them around on so they can see the cats as well
$200 a night and you also get behind the scenes look at the rescue.
While you may use them, the paths are not paved and it might be difficult to push. A motorized might work, but the sanctuary is in a natural setting outside.
Yes they are open. Walk slowly outside beside the road in front of rescue, there is a small stream. You may see some small frogs if you look carefully.
Their animals are all rescued or surrendered by their owners. The Majority of them come from abandoned, abused, or neglected by owners or facilities. Usually the USDA or other government agency closes down a place and asks the efrc to take them.
