Super cool trip if you love animals, or you have children and want a day trip. The staff here is super friendly. I ended up adopting a cat from here after a few trips, and was proud to support such a great palce in the process. The staff wasn't just giving out animals - they made sure we had a nice home for him first. They also have followed up with birthday cards for him and put an adoption photo up on the wall. Truly a wonderful little sanctuary for so many animals. Pictured - the cat we adopted π

Very cool hidden spot to take kids that love animals. No official admission cost, but they do ask for donations when you sign the waiver at the entrance. They are only open limited days and hours (Sunday and Tuesday, I believe). You can buy some human snacks to munch on if you get hungry (no meat though!). If you'd like, you can even buy little buckets of animal food to feed to the animals. Last time we went it was $3 for a bucket of lettuce for the feathered friends and $3 for a bucket of cut apples and carrots for the furry friends. They have dogs, ducks, chickens, peacocks, horses, donkeys, goats, pigs, bunnies, cats, a llama, an alpaca, and probably a few more. The staff and volunteers are super friendly and knowledgeable about the animals. Overall, it's a great place.

SUCH AN amazing opportunity! Definitely get out of the house and take your family to this place! It takes you to a much needed outdoor experience. You do have to sign a waiver (because these animals ARE roaming free) but it is worth every second. This place is heaven on earth to us animal lovers!

This place is truly incredible and a one of a kind experience. I've never been somewhere like this before! If you're an animal lover you NEED to visit the Funny Farm. The animals all wander the property and are so friendly! It's very safe β¦

We would absolutely love that!! Anyone can volunteer for 5 min or 50 years on any Sunday or Tuesday any time between 8-4pm. No need to call ahead. Just check in with Cindy in our store. We have many jobs that need to be done. If youβre under 15, you just need to bring a parent. Thanks so much! Laurie

It's free but they accept donations, which is how it's supported
Yes
Certainly we allow service animals however, we are not really a dog park. We have 600 animals and 11 dogs which will all want to play and it scares your dog to death. It takes a long time to acclimate the dogs to each other and a new dog never goes well so the answer is: for the safety of your animal, itβs best to leave them at home.
We accept apples, lettuce/cabbage, carrots, and grapes. Thank you so much for thinking of us!
Here's the thing...its a REAL farm experience. You must be ready to interact with the animals because they are loose and ready for love!
Tuesdays and sundays 8 till 4. Be sure to take the hayride. The owner tells you the story of the funny farm. Also say hi to Tucker for me!
Can't say they do but you never know. Best to ask at their Facebook page.
Volunteers can be any age! if they are under the age of 15 they must have an adult with them to volunteer. Great Farm very educational for the kids!!!
That's great. I'm sure they will love to have those items. Thank you
No entrance fee. The Funny farm operates solely on donations.
No, they have mostly farm animals chickens, ducks, turkeys they even have an Emu
Yes we are open every Sunday and every Tuesday, rain or shine. Before you visit - we just ask you to fill out a waiver on our website. www.funnyfarmrescue.org Left hand side of the page it will say visit waiver form. Fill out on your computer or phone and hit submit. No printing necessary.

Start your research by going to the ASPCA website, you should have some luck there.
No. Just show up during open hours Sunday or Tuesday with a mask
You can buy tshirts, sweatshirts, long sleeves, and other little things! I'm not sure about mugs, but I got a sweatshirt from there and its fleece lined and of great quality! I wear it all the time and they're a great price as well!
I saw the pile of trees there on Sunday.
No, sorry
They are only open on Tuesdays and Sundays. Sorry.
Just go there and have fun
The Funny Farm posts weekly updates on Facebook for needed items. Its best to check that out first before donating items.
For adoption info you should try and contact them directly, I'm not sure what you mean about Google maps, that's what I use to get there, pretty good directions.
I will come Sunday cause I wa t to carry them and what time on Sunday can I come?
We let them out when itβs not visiting day. They are so big they could step on someone accidentally.
I would check with Laurie on Facebook directly. They probably will..
Please check the animal shelters for cats reported lost before you give away a cat that just showed up. Someone might be heart broken looking for their cat.
I don't think so
Margo, have you tried the contribute app? That is how I go about adding my reviews and pictures.
#1. It is not a petting zoo. It is a protected place where people care for and love animals. #2.there is a beautiful barn for which you can use for a wedding.
Yes they have a section for parties
Only open to the public on Sundays and Tuesdays. Awesome place to visit!
