Dr peng is the best bet. He cares about your pets as if they were his own.

Scammers. Don’t expect support from this company. They’re only chasing their dollars and have no care or consideration for pets and their owners. Don’t take your pets here and especially don’t sign up for their active plans. Diss appointed I fell for this trap.

I have been a Banfield wellness program member since my puppy arrived. But I never really appreciate their services until recently. My puppy was vomiting so I brought her to a emergency clinic last night. I waited for almost 2 hours in the car and they called to inform me they want to do $1500 of tests and injections. So I brought her home and was very lucky to get her a drop off appointment at this Banfield location in the morning. I’m sorry to say, I did not remember the name of the doctor who called me, but she is very compassionate and professional. My puppy was prescribed medication and have stoped the vomiting. I was only charged $20 for the medication(other things included by the membership). Thank you to all the staff here.

Most of the time, this has been a good pet hospital. Once in a while, the receptionists could be pretty rude and careless with bad attitude. They would let you keep waiting until you missed your assigned appointment while answering the phone. The grooming service in the same facility has been the same situation. It's really great if you know who to ask for. Otherwise, your pet might be returned with some unfinished jobs. You can only get that if you are careful and knowing what's supposed to be included. September 2019 updates: We’ve recently visited the Banfield hospital again. The receptionists have been very helpful, friendly and courteous. This is such an impressive improvement since our previous visits! Kudos to the personnel. We appreciated it greatly. However, I did notice the front door areas have been very filthy with trash and urine stains (dry and wet). It’s not kept clean in my recent visits. See the attached pictures. Hopefully they can clean up frequently.

When calling the main number it doesn't always get transferred to the hospital I have learned
Lol, that's a good question. I would call banfield for that information.
None they take all animals as long as you can pay the bill. They have their own wellness plan. If you have other insurance you can pay for service and get your insurance to reimburse you. You can call them for more information. Hope this helps.
No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
They have medications but you have to actually go in. Do you have a cat tree and toys to occupy some of the down time? They have over the counter calming stuff you can try too. Also, if you aren't adverse to having two, you may want to get him a friend. They get lonely too.
Personally I love the pet health plans they have. They are very reasonably priced and include everything you need to keep your fur babies healthy.
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
