They provide recyclable medical supplies to clinics and doctors in need. Great organization.

I love volunteering at MedShare. Staff and volunteers are hardworking, friendly and enthusiastic. Their mission (not only reallocating surplus medical supplies but also minimizing landfill by aggressive recycling) is in tune with my priorities. Great organization.

Great place to spend 1/2 day volunteering. Typically volunteers would be responsible for unboxing/unpacking donated, medical supplies, then sorting (test tubes, test kits, expired packages vs. not, etc.). Supplies are typically donated by hospitals with excess or unused or no-longer needed inventory. After which, volunteers can put sorted items into boxes, count and label and prepare for shipment.

Yes! We are headquartered in Atlanta and we have a Volunteer and Distribution Center in Secaucus, New Jersey, just outside of New York. If you're looking to donate supplies to MedShare on the east coast, you can do so through the form on this page: https://www.medshare.org/donate-medical-supplies/ And if you're looking to volunteer with us in Atlanta or New Jersey, you can sign up for any of our locations here: https://www.medshare.org/volunteer/
Yes you can bring supplies to the center for drop off
They did for us.
I don't think that they do...but if you call it may be possible to coordinate a Saturday.
Medshare accepts all of those things. They do not accept drugs and pharmaceuticals.
