Best muni course in the Sacramento area. Located in the middle of Ancil Hoffman Park by the American River. Lots of wildlife to encounter on the course--deer, turkeys, geese, coyote. Course kept in good shape. Best course on hot days because of the shade from all the mature trees. Decent pro shop and good restaurant.

This is a beautiful, grassy, expansive park, with many shady trees, wonderful for family picnics. The American River flows nearby, with trails down to the shore area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, seeing deer, squirrels, birds resembling red headed woodpeckers, and even turkeys.

Ancil Hoffman golf course and patio is a hidden gem in the Carmichael community. The perfect place to start your day with breakfast on the patio and perhaps hitting a bucket of balls before heading to the beautiful 18 hole golf course with all its beauty and splendor. It truly is a little bit of heaven right here in Carmichael and know that you will not be disappointed!

Yes they have camps
Golf, volleyball if you have your own set ups, you will have access to river and you can BBQ. You can play your own misic if you have the speakers and everything and, plus you can have as much fun as much as you are prepared for.
