A well maintained patch of land with great walking paths. Perfect for creative photography, bird watching and all-around enjoying the outdoors. I walked the grounds quickly this morning just to get a feel for what the place was like and will definitely be back. I would guess that you have to arrive early to take in the true beauty of this area as parking seemed very limited and it probably gets very busy. I was there around 9:30am on a Sunday and there were not many people there yet.

Lovely garden in the heart of Carmichael-Fair Oaks. Only negative was the traffic noise, but it was a great experience, nonetheless. Beautiful and well-marked flora on an easy trail.

Small botanical garden but very cute. It was a good escape from the city. Nice way to be in nature.

Nice place to walk around with lots of trees, plants, and flowers. A few picnic benches near the entry area. Lots of benches scattered around everywhere. Everything is very well maintained. Didn’t see a bathroom, but there’s a porta potty in the parking lot. Had a great time walking the dog here.

one of the best places to get family & kids photos. Just come early or before dusk for the best light.
Yes! Easy walking paths and trails with lots of benches and seating areas. Highly recommend for elderly, kids, or those with limitations/in wheelchairs.
I lived in the house on the upper side of the park for 13+ years. Grew up there. The park is amazing. Why must you ask if there is surveillance?

It is a park maintained by volunteers in collaboration with Carmichael Parks & Recreation. Like any public park, all are welcome during park hours. Field trips are welcome, but you must make all your own arrangements.
