My dad is YMCA member for couple years now, he is +70 and lives in SJ. Also not very fluent in English, anyhow he wanted to use this facility this morning and was asked to leave because my dad is south bay member! I just checked YMCA membership handbook and there is no limitation on the where and which facility to use! So I am rating on behalf of my dad.

Love the array of equipment, but wish the child care was open again. My friends & colleagues are signing up for the many other gyms which have reopened their child care services. When I asked the front desk person why they haven't, she said they're waiting on child vaccinations. Ummm...kids can get vaccinated now.

I had been a member off and on for several years and had nothing to complain about until Covid happened. They continued to charge my credit card every month while everyone else I knew did not get charged. I kept sending messages asking them to freeze my account. When they increased my monthly fees, in the middle of the pandemic, I had to file a claim with my credit card to assist me with getting my money back

New layout since last week. Not sure why they decided to put the free weights in these weird rows, great idea, now a single person using the free weights stops anyone else in the gym from accessing them. You also need to workout in a clump. Old layout made way more sense and left everything accessible.
