The pool was closed at the Hilton JFK, so we transferred our reservation to the Hilton Garden Inn Long Island City because of its location. It turned out to be the perfect place to catch public transportation to do any sightseeing. Also, the lobby and rooms were updated and clean and the staff was wonderful.

No food at the hotel after breakfast. Very few good options in the area. Tiny rooms. I could barely turn around in mine. Furniture pretty worn. Adequately appointed and relatively clean. Very noisy area. Any food options in the local area are very expensive and not very good.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Rooms were clean and felt pretty upscale for the price of the hotel. Right near multiple subway lines. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are ok, nothing really special, nothing that makes this hotel special in any way. The staff are nice, which is why I gave 2 starts instead of 1, but the hotel advertised as close to the airport (an hour away is not close) and they were supposed to have an airport shuttle, also not available... For the price of a room for one night, your better off going to a budget inn, the rooms will be equal in quality, at half the price.

To what I know it's the same in the Hilton Garden Inn. We were wanting to use the stairs but it said to use them in emergency.
There's very little noise if there's any at all, you can sleep very peacefully at night the train it's not an issue at all
I never checked but give them a call I'm sure they would let you know😊
