My mother was admitted to this facility on 16 April 2019 as the result of a fall in her home. I was present when the fall occurred, we got her to Emerson, then Mass General, my brother and I searched for a rehab location and several people and my brothers on line search made us select Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley. Mom was there until she passed on September 19th, I was in this facility 2 to 3 times a day usually during meal period, seven days a week! The facility itself was exceedingly well maintained, I’d get there about 645-700hrs in the a.m. and they were already cleaning. Mom’s room was always being cleaned and the grounds were amazing. Mom’s physical therapy people were outstanding, trying to work with her to make use of her arm (Broken at the shoulder as the result of the fall) this continued until they simply could not do it anymore. Mom was moved out of the rehab wing into the longer-term care wing and again the facility was clean and the operation was above reproach. The staff in both wings took EXCELLENT care of my Mom and made sure her every need was met. I became close to most of the staff that was caring for my mother and I KNOW these people give everything they have to ensure the patients are well cared for. From the admissions manger, to the activity staff, to the on-floor nursing staff. Once mom had an exceedingly difficult afternoon as she was starting to fail, I left between breakfast and lunch and when I returned one of the CNAs was sitting with my mother holding her hand and talking with her in a very comforting tone. The admission manager was always in her room talking with her, as we got closer to the end of her 96-year journey more staff was comforting Mom. This is not your average “old person warehouse” my observations are these people take great care of their residents and work tirelessly to ensure their needs are cared for. I was and continue to be so impressed I’ve recommended this facility to others who’ve needed rehabilitation or some short term care for their loved ones and not one of those people have had one bad thing to say about the experience. My hat is off to these people and I’ll be forever thankful for the care, patience, love and understanding they gave to my mother and her family!

My Mom was here for rehab in June 2019 and had an excellent experience. She was very appreciative of the rehab and nursing staff, they were caring, responsive and helped her regain her mobility. Mom is a discerning diner and we were all happily surprised that she liked the food. The surroundings of the nursing room are beautiful and my family and I loved seeing the llamas, horses and well groomed hillside as we drove in and we were always glad to see the residents enjoying the views while they sat outside the main entrance.

I was in a horrendous situation having chosen a different rehab facility and I knew in within 2 hrs there I had to get out.. Fortunately my niece came to my rescue and on a Friday night at around 7 pm was able to reach LCCNV Littleton. By noon the next day they had me transferred out of hell to a little bit of heavan! I had a hip replacement and needed short term care, PT, OT. I felt welcome from the minute I arrived. The staff is beyond professional, they are caring. I had a plan in place for everything within hours, weekend and all. The PT, OT dept had me working towards my goal to go home immediately. I coukd write volumes on how impressed I was with them, but this is a short review. The nursing staff was good given their workload. The CNA's were beyond wonderful. I met many long term residents and I was so pleased and amazed at how well they were treated and respected. Activities galore, dining room for those able and food was above par. The setting was beautiful and even visitors enjoyed it. Llamas, mini horses, chickens and bunnies. My 7 yr old nieces told me they wanted to stay there when they got "old"! I could go on and on but I believe I've made my point. Research places then make a decision, your sure to chose here if within your area.

The facility is very well maintained and the people are outstanding. I happen to need short term care post-op, however they offer short and long term rehab. The nurses, the doctor and his staff are very attentive to your needs. The OT and PT staff are incredibly easy to work with. They work to understand your rehab needs and while their mission is to make you better, they work at a pace which emphasizes your need to get better, but it’s also designed not to overwhelm you. I strongly recommend this facility for any rehabilitation needs.

i thinks that’s very rude of you two to say that and even the person who asked the question, as we get older we can’t control ourselves as much as we did when we were younger, like going to the bathroom, eating correctly, just like toddlers. so that sort of happens and creates an oder to the place. but that’s something you should keep to yourself. me being only a teen knows this myself but you two don’t seem to understand. the staff here are very kind and very helpful. my nana was there for almost 3 years until she passed away from a disease she had. she got the great help she needed from everyone there and they’re doing there best so don’t be mean.
