Great place to visit. Just check the weather up at the top of the mountain before hand. Plan to spend some time up there, and bring water. Take the hike, the views are worth it. If your a bit out of shape... Go outside and walk 2 miles or so before going so your lungs will be a bit in better shape for the higher elevation. It's worth the explore.

What a wonderful destination for fishing, hiking, mountain biking and just plain old getting your nature on. The stunning mountain range, the West branch of Ausable River and the trails are all outstanding.

Great hike, used the all trails app. Last mile is a bit tough as you climb straight up.

Winter is here. Contact Adirondack Loj. They can give better knowledge. 46r base. Trails will be tougher to trek. Good luck and enjoy the 'dacks.
