I would not recommend going out of your way to check out this spot, not a lot to see and the trailheads are poorly marked, and the trails are not well maintained.

Beautiful place to hike! Trail is easy to moderate. Beginning of trail is muddy. It is very well marked. We spent about 3hrs hiking this,about 10 miles. Also brought the dog & he loved it! So pretty this time of year with all the leaves & some nice waterfalls. We even saw a bear! Looking forward to going back in the winter!

Nice State forest with a hiking trail and lean-to. I hiked through this state forest while on the Finger Lakes Trail. Didn't see anyone else out there. The lean-to is very well kept and is a nice rest stop whether you are hiking or backpacking. Based on where this state forest is located and the area around it, I would guess it would be popular with hunters.
