Camp La Llanada

The llanada camp seemed to be a “ great place” for kids. Unfortunately, for my 9 year old daughter and for her friend was a very frustrating experience. The first two days they went swimming in the lake which was very nice, but the rest of the day was about watching the councilors sing, and do their acts . The other days no water swimming , they didnt even do canoeing which was one of the camps promises. Very hot days, no water activities, and babysh activities in shelters . Very disappointed!

Best camp, love the vibe. My daughter had the best experience this past season. With awesome guides and organizers. Not to mention all the activities. She got more connected to the ways I used to experience camp back in my country. We are looking forward to next year.

The Cabins are clean and well kept, as comfortable as camping cabins can be. What draws me to loving this place is the beautiful outdoor space! It feels almost like a different world--so far away from the noise and traffic of everyday. The amenities are wonderful for our group to work with. The area is large enough for almost any event (our group uses it for SCA events--historical re-enactment and education). The scenery will lend an air of other-worldliness, beauty, and natural splendor as a backdrop for any activity.

I absolutely love this camp. My group The society for creative anachronism Prince this campout several times a year. The facilities are always well-maintained and the grounds are well-kept. My only complaint would be the amount of ants. The facilities manager really should consider a pest control solution to cut down on the number of ants. Overall a very enjoyable experience relative to other camps that we have used in the past. I'm sure we will continue using this place for quite a long time.
