As far as if I used this business, the answer is yes, and no. I called Sears and worked with them either on the phone or in chat. Sears is techs are confident that the resets they have you perform will fix your problem. It has been six weeks that I’ve been going back-and-forth with Sears on my refrigerator and the icemaker not working. After six weeks they’ve replaced the icemaker and it is still not working. The problem with the technicians that Sears sends out is that they are not Sears technicians. They are a third-party vendor that works in the state of Florida. The first tech that came to the house seemed knowledgeable, had a toolbox with him, and offered information that would help once they replace the ice maker. The third-party vendor that return to replace the icemaker really had no clue on repairing appliances. He came with the parts and one screwdriver. To get the icemaker changed he had to use his one screwdriver in ways that screwdrivers were not designed to be used. All in all, after six weeks the icemaker still does not work, there are no Sears technician in the bay area to send to the house, and I’m dealing with the only third-party vendor that is authorized by Sears to work on their appliances. My next scheduled appointment is three weeks from now. As for value, it is all warranty work and the more parts they replace and the more times they come out chances are there’s no value in this for the vendor. I am pretty certain by the time this all ends Sears will be getting me a new refrigerator.

The appliance service man came out looked at our washer and couldn’t read the model# and said he couldn’t repair it without it he was ask if it would be on the back and he said no . Well guess what after he left we looked and sure enough it was .Maybe he really doesn’t know about washers or needs to find another vocation.
