Definitely a favourite of mine! Free park entrance and parking and water fountain at the beginning of the walk. Some paved trails, bridges, boardwalks and lookout tower. Dogs allowed. Also a beautiful kayak/ paddleboarding/canoeing area. Lots of wildlife to see too.

Free but at a different price. Long trails, pretty well maintained. However. No water. Almost 4 miles without any water 😭. Make sure to bring some or you will regret it. Water fountain and bathrooms at the start. Beautiful place too.

Fantastic nature preserve! It has great paths that give you a nice bounce to your step as you walk along and look at all the sites of the water ways they have within the preserve. You can even take out kayaks and enjoy the preserve that way! Looking forward to testing that out and a great place to walk your dog when the weather is cooler as the trails are a bit long if you have a small dog.

Great place for scenic walk or bike ride. Well marked trails. Have kayak launch. Very busy on weekends at launch. Visit the Valentine House. Open on Saturdays.

Yes!
The park is salt water so there wouldn't be gators. Sharks are a possibility but pretty rare. Big snook, dolphins, and birds abound...
I was there yesterday walking and seen more than 4 to 5 E Bikes. Just make sure if you go to announce your self when passing others. Passing on your Left/Right.

Yes, I have seen many with dogs.
No there isn't.
The main paved trail is fine. Parts of the shell loop have been a bit wet when we have a lot of rain combined with a high tide.
At the end of 9th Ave NW. It will open for Saturday mornings 9am-12pm starting in September, 2020. The new Canopy Zone, also located there, is open sunrise to sunset every day.
There is one paved walking and biking trail from one end of the park to the other. In addition there are several miles ofl trails made of crushed shells for bikers and walkers throughout the park. Be advised however the broken shells can pierce Street bike tires. Mountain bikes and hybrids can be ridden on the shell trails.

The Light Labyrinth was an event we've held in the past, building a labyrinth for a single day. There is no permanent labyrinth at the site.
Fish, small snakes, insects.
We were there at 10 am. The Road was closed off of 9th Avenue NW. It was open the day before.
Thomas R. Robinson, an educator in Hillsborough County who began teaching in 1917. There is not much information online about him but there is other things in the surrounding areas named after him.
No storage for bikes but i did notice that there are special store tubes for kayaks.
In years past they had offered a "hay ride" type event in the fall. I once spoke to one of the organizers and was left with the impression that they would just love to accommodate your friend, enquire at the house at the entrance
Any trees that leaned over were cleared, there is no detectable difference with pre-storm, I've walked even the primitive trail recently.
