It was a nice stay at Eagle View, cabin was very cozy on one of the coldest weekends I've seen. Only gripe was I didn't know the cabin I'd be staying in would have another family above us. They were extremy loud all day and when I told the office as I was checking out, they didn't seem to care. If I had known there would be another family staying above, I probably wouldn't have booked... they dont specify that on the website. My boyfriend and I went for a relaxing weekend and all we heard were loud foot stomps all day until midnight. In response to the owner's comments: The only reason I left the review was because of the lack of care when I brought up the issue at check out. I'm aware nothing could have been done since I mentioned it after the fact. It doesn't state on your website that the cabin we picked would actually be a shared cabin with another family above us. When I brought that up and mentioned they were loud, it was complete silence from the office staff. An apology or an understanding of my feedback was all I needed, I didn't get that and wouldn't have if I didn't leave a review.

Me and my family had one of the most beautiful time at the awesome Trout House Village Resort. If you are looking for a less commercialized experience at Lake George then this is the place for you. The owners have made sure to offer the best experiences for their guests whether it’s on the resort or by the lake with so many activities. We had to rent the motels as that was the only option available for this Labor Day weekend. Our check-in experience was great and the concierge person patiently answered all our questions regarding the resort as it was our first time. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Some of the highlights of the resort are the most beautiful lake views from every room, 0.6 mile hike to one of the most scenic views of the lake, which begins right behind the resort and last but not the least, kayaking on the lake to explore all the small islands.. this was certainly the highlight of our stay here. Our boys ( 7 and 13 yr olds) loved the island hopping, fishing and the cliff jumping experience. One thing to keep in mind is that there are not that many dining options in the neighborhood so come prepared. There’s literally just 1 good restaurant. Other than that it’s one of the best resort in Lake George.

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay at the Trout House Resort recently. I am admittedly a cabin lover and have stayed in quite a few around the country. The Trout House Cozy Cottage was definitely the best! The cottage was perfectly clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. Every need had been anticipated and perfectly met and Alice and the staff were kind and helpful in every way. Though it was already well into fall, a time when many businesses had been shuttered, the Trout House had every thing available a guest could want; kayaks, bikes, shuffleboard, croquet and on and on! The location on beautiful Lake George is nothing less than spectacular with a very nice beach. A morning coffee on the pier enjoying the view was a memory I won't soon forget! And a lovely walk into the tiny hamlet of Hague is a great way to start your day. We definitely hope to return soon!!! The hard part will be deciding which great cabin to try next! Thanks for a great stay!!

We spent four wonderful nights at Trout House Resort, our first time. From the moment we arrived we felt the charm of the resort from check-in until we sadly had to head home. Alice was very friendly and helpful. We rented Cozy Cottage and it was perfect in every sense. Spotless and every amenity you could think of. The jacuzzi after three days of hiking was perfect. I especially remarked that the owners took great pride in maintaining the resort. The cabins and log homes were all freshly painted and the grounds pristine. You can sense the pride they had in offering a great experience to their guests. We had a most memorable stay and can’t wait to return. Perfect in every way! And the views!! A jewel of a resort on Lake George.
