Visited the restaurant called SixWest. Good selection of food and full bar. No complaints.

Nice location. Played 18 holes on their golf course which was nice, not too challenging. Lodge rooms roomy and clean but as previously mentioned by others, the rooms are dated.

When making a reservation I specifically requested a king jacuzzi suite w/ a balcony (confirmed one was available before booking, was told they have several & all were available). Upon checking in was given a 1st floor room, I stated I booked a room w/ balcony, she looked stating yes you did however all the rooms w/ balconies the jacuzzi jets are having issues (funny ALL the rooms having issues?!!) & that they only have 1st floor. I was not happy, I should of been contacted asking if I was willing to change rooms, which I was NOT willing to but was left with no option! Wasn't given a discount or anything, just a sorry this is the room we're giving you!! We were given room 136, which is totally outdated, had a musty odor, stains in jacuzzi and shower. To top it off, it was a beautiful weekend but we couldn't sit out on the patio area as the sewer pipe directly in front of our patio had no cover and smelled gross! Don't waste your money at this "resort", stay at the newer hotels in Tunkhannock! ONLY good thing about staying here for the weekend was Six West had delicious food & good service! Skip the free breakfast of bagged pastries & go to Perkins!

It's pretty tough to say it's a great place to stay. Valentine's day weekend. Special room of course with special pricing. It hurts to hear the workers call this place a "resort". Special room had special tub with special colorful water with special dirt in the jets. Im sure these rooms are not used all the time. Still leaves no excuse not to prep and clean these tubs. $200 a night for a mud bath? Absolutely disgusting. Place is under a remodel but I can tell housekeeping habits have not changed at all. It's not the first time I've stayed here. Let's just say it may have new owners but it has the same great awesome atmosphere. I will say the girls working the bar/restaurant were good people and worked hard. Ate both nights including their version of "Valentine's Day dinner". Good food, bad atmosphere for a quiet peaceful dinner.
