There are two parking lots you can choose your starting position from. The Massachusetts one is the one thats higher up the hill and the hike is about a 10 min hike towards the water fall from there. Moreover they closed the waterfall so you cant go into the water. They said it might take 3,4 years before they open it up again for public. Despite that, its a nice spot to take pictures and enjoy the views.

I did this hike so you don't have to . The hike down was crazy steep. Not for young kids !! You can not swim there or even get down to the water. . It is all blocked off !! It's a good hike for experienced people only .

This is by far one of the most beautiful areas in the north western CT corner. They have trials from both Mass and NY side. The mass side has a small climb up some rocks to the left, and it will leave you with breath taking views. After head down the trail for about 15 mins to get to the waterfall. Two totally different views, but equally as amazing. You can also hike in from the NY side, it looks like it’s not as steep but is a longer hike. Overall must go!

Hiked from the MA side. About a 10 to 15 minute walk over varied terrain. About 300 ft. down to the falls. Not overly difficult but if you aren't able to manage stairs and some uneven terrain, consider going to the parking lot on the NY side. The trail is very level and manageable for all skill levels.

Yes there are cabins on the New York side heading up to the falls
About 15 mi utes. It is not flat. But uphill in spots going to the Falls from the NY parking lot in Copake Falls. Not a hard walk.
Some people spray painted and trashed the place during covid. So they put rails and blocked everyone from going for a dip. Hopefully they open it back up.
You can park in the overflow lot on the Massachusetts side. DO NOT park on the street. I was there yesterday and almost got towed. It is a great time and a beautiful spot .
Not at the waterfall, but at the bottom there is a lake where you can swim
The signs that say not to swim, but most people do swim
