You better schedule an appointment or it could be hours before you get anything done. 4 hour wait, 4 minute transaction. Not busy just a terrible system

It is 2022 I think its time for the DMV to get with the times. People shouldn't have to wait hours for something that takes 2 minutes to complete. Get more help or better more competent help so things can run smoother.

Im a transplant from Massachusetts, Been here 30 years. I would tease my friends still in Mass about the time spent at the Boston DMV compared to Keene.. I can make that Boast no more. The DMV has gone from a pleasant visit to the same cranky beurocratic nightmare Boston is.. My Question is WHY???

Wow! I have coming to Keene DMV since 1984. This is the worst experience I have ever seen. Totally unorganized. I had to get new plates in order to drive my car legally. Pretty important! I tried to make an appointment online to comply with the new requirements, however the earliest date was 9 days out. This is something that was easily taken care of just three years ago in 15-20 minutes. I arrived at 8 am. They asked me if I had an appointment. I said no, so they told me to have a seat and that I was a walk in. There was two employees out of three positions. They continued to receive people coming in and told them to wait as they did not have an appointment. The employees seemed to be doing nothing but walking in and out of the door in back. They were coming out to the front and putting signs up with packing tape. They seemed to be waist of time. People started to get angry and asking them how long they were going to have to wait. Who is in charge of these DMV employees? So! It is 12:15 pm and I am still here! After being here this long, it’s obvious that they are not taking care of walking. No appointments have come in and nobody has been helped in 20 minutes

Same question ^ cost for Renewal & which days are available for this ?
Appointments are preferred, but if you don't mind sitting and waiting, sometimes they will be able to squeeze you in. I didn't know about the appointments (I've been out of state on an extended RV trip). I came in at the end of the day, and I was able to be seen before they closed. Don't forget that the office has moved to 149 Emerald St -- in the Center at Colony Mill shopping center.
So. . . you do not need a permit In new hampshire as long as a licensed driver over 25 years old is with you and you have proof of identity like your birth certificate on you incase you are pulled over. And you must be atleast 15 and a half to drive under these circumstances. No permit needed bud.
https://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/dmv/driver-licensing/update-personal-information/address-change.htm -I would also bring in one or two pieces of mail to prove you live there. (Car registration can be used) just in case, some ask..some dont.
No , but you need to change it in the DMV system. The cops will say you do , but that is in accurate.

As long as you have the previous registration; proof of ownership (Bill of Sale and Driver's license); a verification of vessel identification, HIN, hull number using form RDMV-690, filled out by a law enforcement officer; and a registration form RDMV-612; plus pay the fee -- you're all set!! Happy boating 😊
Go and fill out a form located outside the dmv. Knock on the door and someone will meet you outside. It will take a day or so to replace.
Follow this link's steps and you should get some temp plates for your vehicle (copy the link by holding your finger on https and the holding 1 of the 2 blue tabs and pulling it right and down until you have highlighted every part of the URL and then press copy) https://itstillruns.com/temporary-license-plates-5685269.html
